Used to be a favorite but we haven’t been back for a while because during our last visit, the owner or manager was mistreating the wait staff. After a hiatus, we returned last night. The server was great, but the owner (or manager) was still hovering. The quality of the food has declined since our last visit. Two different dishes with chicken and the chicken was overcooked and dry in both. Won’t go back.

There were 6 of us in our party and we all loved our meals. I appreciate the decent selection of vegetarian dishes and the convenience of the spirits store right next door to this BYOB restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive as well. Here are a few of the items we ordered and highly recommend: The vegan risotto, the vegetarian cannelloni (incredible flavors!), rigatoni in blush sauce, and an appetizer of arancini. They were all delicious!

Awesome experience with love from , authentic Italian cuisine! Made in italy and located in Heart of Princeton Nj . Definitely recommend!!

We had a great dinner. Our starters were eggplant rollatini and burrata. Both were fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious. Our main courses were the Bronzino and Chicken and Sausage Marsala. Everything was well presented very enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

I like this place bcs they allow you to bring your wine of bottle to the table. However food is average and the service is too slow. Waitress are nice and kind, but it’s a place where you need to keep a modest expectations.

We came here for lunch and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The menu was extensive and they even had several daily specials on top of that. The Mater De and the entire staff was attentive, friendly and on top of every detail. The food was five star from the very first based to the last, and the portion sizes were more than satisfactory, and in fact will provide for tonight‘s dinner with what we could not finish and brought home. This Princeton gem is one not to miss and in fact is one of the rare ones that will go on your must return to list time and time again. As you can see, it was a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Unpleasant environment with flies buzzing incessantly made lunch uncomfortable. I had risotto and it tasted good. Restaurant was totally empty at lunch on a Monday. Wouldn’t return.

Good spot for lunch and people watching since we snagged a table by the front window. Wait staff was very attentive but not overly intrusive. Food was vey good! We shared the gnocchi and the duck salad accompanied by delicious bread with olive oil.

Had a friendly and attentive waiter. The food was excellent. The chicken marsala was served with very tender and moist chicken and was full of flavour. There was a baby shower going on at the same time so the noise level was a bit up, but I still really enjoyed my lunch.
