La tradition d'excellence culinaire de la famille Sena remonte au début de 1947 lorsque Carlo « Papa » Sena a commencé à cuisiner dans la Naples de l'après-guerre. La famille a continué cette expérience en traversant l'Atlantique et a ouvert le La Famiglia en 1976 dans un entrepôt de thé colonial. Aujourd'hui, le La Famiglia est devenu le meilleur restaurant italien de Philadelphie et un site d'intérêt majeur de la scène gastronomique dynamique de la ville.

What a gem! Delicious food and amazing attentive service. They’ve been in business since 1976 so they must be doing something right. This was our first time and we are adding it to our regular rotation! If you’ve never been - definitely give it a try.

Excellent food & service. The food was beautifully presented & tasted amazing. Outside of Italy, the best Italian we've eaten in. Service was excellent too. Also one of the largest wine cellars I've ever seen in a restaurant.

The food was superb and the staff unparalleled. The only negative was a family with 2 screaming children were seated next to us even though there were other empty tables.

Great meal! Loved the branzino table side service. Pastas were excellent. Very good service.

A delightful evening for a special celebration and new introductions. The restaurant has an old world charm with service to match. Steeped in tradition, the service was excellent and heartfelt. Food was delightful. Wine selection was extensive. Even the less expensive bottles are decanted at the table. Great bread. Lovely pasta dishes and sauces. We will come back!

As transplanted New Yorkers in Philadelphia, my mother and I felt like we were transported back to lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, or the Bronx for a wonderful meal with attentive, but not rushed, service.
