This was our first time at La Dolce Vita and it was an amazing experience! The servers were great, ambiance was very relaxing, and the food was outstanding. For La Jolla, the prices were great and for excellent food! Would definitely recommend and I hope to go there again soon!

Excellent service! What a great place for a family dinner or for those looking to dine out for a special occasion. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back! The food is excellent. The portions are generous. The ambiance is cozy, warm and relaxed. The restaurant staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is a hidden gem.

Incredible experience. Our server Tinder took excellent care of us and the food was amazing. We had the Fettuccini Alfredo and Short Rib…wow. Al, owner, visited with us for a bit and we enjoyed getting to know him and his background. This is definitely a gem. Bravissimo!

My wife had salmon on spaghetti. The spaghetti came overcooked. It was real soft and soggy. I ordered the ribeye steak. It came with the side vegetables. It was great. This place does not have a lot of selections on beer unfortunately, and a 12-oz can is priced at $10. I think it’s overpriced. Usually, a 16-oz draft beer (which is better than can) glass would be prized at 8-9 dollars for the other comparable restaurants in La Jolla.

First time here. We were greeted with a warm smile by the hostess. Our server was wonderful and prompt. Our party of 6 tried 5 different dishes (shrimp Salvatore, pollo dolce vita, spaghetti pescatore, lobster ravioli) that arrived quickly, hot, and at the same time. Everyone absolutely *savored* their meals. Seafood was fresh. Pasta was al dente. Sauces were so flavorful!!! 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼WE WILL BE BACKKKKKKK

Late night dinner after seeing the film Wicked. Service, food and seating were all great. I would recommend this restaurant.

Both my husband and I enjoyed out dinner. Our server was very good. It was a bit cold where our table was near the door which was open due to outside diners.

Always exceptional service and food. This is our favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego. The owner always greats us as if we have been friends for years. The staff is extremely pleasant and informative , and the food beyond fantastic.

Such a pleasant dining experience for our family with elementary and high school aged kids. We enjoyed it so much we brought my MIL for her birthday. We usually go before noon so there are no crowds or waiting.
