La Dolce Vita est une entreprise familiale tenue par deux générations. Le « zio » (oncle) Giuseppe Salpietro et son « Nipote » (neveu) Nicola Fuccilli vous invitent à découvrir leur passion pour la cuisine et la culture italienne. L'histoire de La Dolce Vita a débuté il y a cinq décennies dans une petite ville nichée dans les collines de la Sicile. C'est de là-bas que proviennent la cuisine, les traditions et les coutumes authentiques de Giuseppe Salpietro, qui elles sont le fruit de siècles de bonne chère. Our server was great. The food was good but I had to send my steak back to be cooked more thoroughly. I asked for medium and it was very rare. (Purple color) when it came back it was warmed slightly but still purple inside. I don’t like to keep sending food back so I did the best I could but left a lot on the plate. As far as the ambiance and noise level goes, it felt like I was at a wrestling match with the crowd screaming at random intervals. Not my style.

First time, last time. Server was amazing and has nothing at all to do with this review. Place was dirty, overpriced, and food was gross. On a beautiful summer Sat night, they weren’t seating guests in the best spot - OUTSIDE - and there was no pending storms in the radar (we checked). We got stuck in a TENT outside. Food was so gross we couldn’t eat any of it. Drinks didn’t have what the ingredients on the menu (mezcal drink didn’t taste at all like mezcal). Way overpriced, go anywhere else.

I took my fiancé out for his birthday dinner and we were blown away by the food. Some of the best calamari I have ever had!

We were seated in the tent like structure in the front of the restaurant. It has tile flooring and there is no insulation installed to mitigate the noise level. There was no way to have a conversation with anyone at the table. It was the loudest restaurant I have ever been in. Inside the restaurant there were not as many people and I requested to be reseated inside for dessert. The young man in charge was rude, told me he couldn’t do anything to make it quieter and that I couldn’t move. After I pushed back, he agreed to reseat us and then he disappeared. When he resurfaced he acted like he forgot what we discussed. The food was amazing. The service was amazing! However, much to his relief, I will not be back because of the noise and because of his lack of customer service and just plain manners.

Sal and team were informative and attentive. Began with a martini and a limoncello spritz…made perfectly. Eggplant rollitini appetizer was delicious (should have ordered two!). Salmon stuffed with crabmeat had a nice portion of spinach and potato wedges. Shrimp scampi was the best I have ever had. The sauce was on the thicker side and absolutely delicious. Portions were big and worth the prices. Compliments to the chef and bartender and Sal for recommendations. Also the restaurant is on beach side with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating +2 bars! YUM!
