My Girlfriend and I had a really great time eating at LDV. Our server, Ricardo, was able to pick up that we were celebrating her 20th birthday It came time to order drinks and Ricardo offered to craft some mocktails for us (off the menu), since we are under the legal drinking age, he really came through with some well-made drinks! He made us virgin fuzzy navels and they were really good! As for the food, it was very tasty and decently portioned for an establishment like this. I ordered the Penne Mezzogiorno and my Girlfriend got the Gnocchi Baza, both were well put together, I would recommend for sure! When dessert came around we ordered the Espresso Tiramisu and the Chocolate Cake - once again, both tasty! Very moist and flavour-filled. Ricardo even had the kitchen decorate the chocolate cake with a Happy Birthday message, with a candle! All in all, I would recommend coming here for sure! It is an intimate, fine Italian restaurant, with live piano, and fun decor made for a date night! Keep in mind, they only offer valet parking for $10 - shoutout to the valet attendant for doing a great job!

Minestrone soup, grilled artichokes, caprese salad, bread with herbed oil and parm. All delicious. Service very good. Love the R&B music just too loud. Requested them to turn it down. We go out to dinner to enjoy conversation and good food. Music should be dinner background music. PLEASE keep the volume down so we can hear each other across the table. We’ll be back.

My wife's chicken parmesan and my chicken piccata were both excellent, with tender, juicy chicken and rich flavor. Both were served piping hot. She also had the minestrone soup which was chunky and flavorful and I had a salad with beets, goat cheese, cucumbers, green olives, and onions (I can't recall the name) and it was fantastic. Rico, our server, was just the right level of attentiveness - neither obtrusive nor invisible. We sat in the garden (on 10/29 in Michigan, shockingly!) and it was beautiful.

The food at La Dolce Vita was decent enough—flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, the overall experience was marred by shockingly poor service. From start to finish, the staff appeared inattentive and disengaged. It took quite a while to even place our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was riddled with mistakes. Several items we ordered were incorrect, and despite multiple attempts to catch the attention of a server, it felt as though we were invisible. When we did manage to flag someone down, they seemed more annoyed than helpful, and correcting the orders took even longer. While the food quality was passable, the lackluster and error-prone service left a bad taste. With so many options available, I’d hesitate to recommend this place unless they address their service issues.

It’s has remodeled and the menu has changed. It’s very bright and charming. The pianist added a touch of class. Valet parking is a great amenity and the owner was very engaging and friendly . Five stars to Rico and Stetson.

Everything about our experience was wonderful. Food was excellent. Drinks were fantastic. Dessert was delicious! Our server Page was so friendly and made great recommendations. All-around great experience.

The food was delicious with moderate sized portions. I had one drink that was a good size and tasted good. Ambiance was nice with a live piano performance and the outside patio is great for pictures especially at night when all the lights are on! Service was very poor, our waitress was nice but did not check on us for long periods of time. From the very moment we sat down it took long for us to get greeted and we waited long periods of time for everything even though it wasn’t too busy. We were celebrating a birthday but we were never offered dessert, instead boxes and the bill came so at that point we didn’t even bother to ask because we assumed it would take long anyway. Overall an okay experience with great food!
