Le restaurant La Collina ravit ses convives depuis plus de 25 ans avec une cuisine, un service et une ambiance de classe mondiale. Le personnel a reçu une formation classique et sert avec le souci du détail une sélection des meilleures recettes d'antan, dans une atmosphère élégante et décontractée. L'établissement, situé tout juste à côté de la Schuylkill Expressway à Belmont Hills, offre une vue spectaculaire sur la colline. Le bar propose une atmosphère unique avec des spectacles et de la danse les fins de semaine. Ce petit bijou est reconnu comme l'un des restaurants les plus romantiques sur la Main Line. Le restaurant La Collina se spécialise dans les plats de fruits de mer et de veau frais. Sa spécialité, la sole franche, est un poisson délicat et savoureux qui est grillé et servi à votre table. En plus de la sole, les plats du jour de poisson frais comprennent le bar européen, le saumon norvégien, le pompano, la dorade royale, les crabes à carapace molle, les langoustines et autres délices de la mer, selon leur disponibilité. Charming dining room (and there are several). Excellent service plus valet parking. Salad was delicious but the veal (VITELLO ALLA FONTANA) was so-so. It was in demi-glaze sauce which was a little too rich for me (but I am not used to eating rich food). Portions are huge so next time would share. A lovely fining environment. I would go again but be more selective in what I order.

La Collina was nothing short of amazing. My boyfriend and I have loved it so much we have come twice in two weeks so have the same excellent server each time! She is simply amazing, remembering everything down to our drink orders! Would highly recommend!

The experience here is always wonderful. I've been coming since the previous owner, and although the new management isn't as personable, the wait staff and valet have remained a pure joy. Also, the changes they've made to both the menu and the restaurant have been tastefully done and much needed. Overall, it is a great place to go, be it solo, on a date, for business, with friends or with family!

The new management needs to go back to when they required you to be appropriately dressed for a restaurant of that caliber. Do I REALLY want to be seated across from some schlub in a Sand Jamm T-shirt, shorts, and sandals? Yes, it’s another filled table but just might cause you to lose a couple or more future filled tables. “I’m sorry, sir, but we do not allow shorts and T-shirts in our dining room. Thank you for respecting our other guests” DRESS UP, PEOPLE!

La Collina has a very nice ambience. Our server, Antonio was great. We enjoyed our selections: Clams casino, eggplant rolatini, vitello picatta, the special seafood pasta (YUMMY), etc.; however, the broccoli rabe had a strange aftertaste - maybe undercooked. The cocktails were substantial as well as the wine pours. We are returning next month.
