Le restaurant La Collina ravit ses convives depuis plus de 25 ans avec une cuisine, un service et une ambiance de classe mondiale. Le personnel a reçu une formation classique et sert avec le souci du détail une sélection des meilleures recettes d'antan, dans une atmosphère élégante et décontractée. L'établissement, situé tout juste à côté de la Schuylkill Expressway à Belmont Hills, offre une vue spectaculaire sur la colline. Le bar propose une atmosphère unique avec des spectacles et de la danse les fins de semaine. Ce petit bijou est reconnu comme l'un des restaurants les plus romantiques sur la Main Line. Great, attentive service, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Food (beet/arugala/goat cheese salad, scampi risotto, and tiramisu were to die for)!

The food was amazing, and overall, we really enjoyed our dinner. There was such a great variety of delicious things on the menu, it was almost hard to pick! In terms of what could have been better, the waitress running our table had WAY too many tables at one time. We counted at least 7, and it just created a situation where she couldn’t provide us with great service. It took us a long time to get everything — drinks, orders in, apps and especially the main course (when we’d ordered it all at once). I don’t blame the waitress because I think she wasn’t set up for success based on the staffing. Additionally, there were a lot of bugs (flies, gnats) in the dining room, which was closed in, and no one on the staff mentioned or asked about our occasion (anniversary), which was on our booking. Again, it was overall a very nice experience, and the food was amazing. We would go again, but our expectations would not be as high as they were the first time around. It felt like what we experienced as not-great could be easily addressed and tweaked by management.

The food is great and the service is great too. Very nice view and great wine list. Just l little too pricy for the spaghetti

It doesn’t get much better than this outside of Italy. Food is incredible, service phenomenal. Always a great experience

Our server was very dismissive and made us feel as though he did not want to wait on us. He did not give the specials, but proceeded to with everyone before and after us. Eventually another server (better demeanor) came out, to check on us, see if we wanted dessert & gave us the check. The food was ok, but lacked flavor. Overall, we would not be interested in going back.

Food was excellent and the ambiance was very nice. A traditional classic Italian restaurant with a trove of experienced wait staff. It’s a special place for special occasions or weekly date night. There were several family gatherings and restaurant was lively. We had a nice bottle of Barolo, the Burrata appetizer and their version of the wedge salad. All were delicious - especially the Burrata app, which came with prosciutto, peppers and olives. My wife had a seafood pasta and I had the veal Osso Bucco - very good. Everyone is nice from the valet to the hostess Only room for improvement was the timing of the meal. After 45 minutes we asked about our appetizer as the waiter topped of our wine. Our appetizer and salads all came out at the same time a few minutes later. We had them hold the salads and bring them back out after finished our appetizer. Not an issue for us as it is nice to not feel rushed. We would definitely go back and highly recommended La Collina.

We have eaten at La Collina many times and it was always great. Last night was not good. Quality of food was low, some was tasteless, and my entree had a piece of plastic in it. They told us that had turnover in the kitchen recently. Very disappointed as this was one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area.
