La Brezza, meaning ocean breeze, is considered to be one of Calgary's finest Italian restaurants. Opened in 1987 and still in its original location - once the owners house, La Brezza continues to offer an elegantly simple Italian cuisine, emphasizing traditional home-cooked goodness.

                                            It was ok when other people talk it would echo inside the restaurant, the echoing in the restaurant created excess noise

                                            Food was good. Portions were not very good. We had the beet salad to start - good but overpriced at $21! It was full and very noisy - we ended up leaving and having dessert elsewhere because we couldn’t hear each other over the noise. Disappointing!

                                            The cost of the food was exorbitant. We had a $50 steak with instant potatoes. The calamari was rubbery and not tasty. The Caesar salad had next to no dressing on it and was band and flavourless. We were a party of 6 and the food came out very slowly. Don’t waste your $ here.

                                            The food was good, but not great. The calamari antipasto was quite good. The lasagna was not particularily good, somewhat dry and flavourless. I can't say that I'm sorry we went, but I'm not thniking of returning.

                                            Our server was incredibly kind and attentive and we really enjoyed our special evening out. The food overall was quite good with the pear ravioli being a highlight. I would definitely come back and check out the beautiful looking patio on a less rainier day!! Thanks for making the night special.
