Le restaurant La Bottega a été un pilier pour les habitants des environs et les touristes depuis 1997. Ayant commencé simplement en comptoir de sandwiches et de charcuteries, La Bottega est devenue l'une des destinations les plus prisées pour les repas dans la vallée de Vail. La Bottega propose une cuisine italienne authentique avec le chef Stephen Virion qui a travaillé en Toscane et dans la région vénitienne en Italie. Sa femme, Elisabetta vient d'Asiago, en Italie. C'est elle qui a conçu la carte des vins pour accompagner la cuisine. Le bar à vins de La Bottega est un endroit idéal pour l'après-ski ou encore juste pour un verre de vin tiré de la liste des vins primée avec des amis. Bien sûr, les sandwiches sont célèbres mais les pizzas cuites sur pierre au four sont encore plus populaires. A La Bottega il y a quelque chose pour rendre l'expérience gustative extraordinaire pour tout le monde.

The food and service is top notch. Our table was not quite ready but there was space at the bar. the bartender made the drinks as expected but also provided guidance on the wines. Once seated the service was equally good. The plates were described well. The waiter offered guidance. The portions are LARGE. The food is prepared expertly. The temperature is appropriate. The flavors are excellent. As one would expect, the truffle menu is sublime. The wine choices are excellent. The wine prices are in line with what one expects in Vail. No complaints whatsoever.

Pretty bad pasta. Not worth it. Italian restaurants should be about more than just pizza and ceasar salad, speciallly considering their prices.

It was our second time this week in La Bottega, it was my birthday and we liked the first time so much we decided to go again. We were assigned the last table of the restaurant and the waitress did the least possible effort to recommend the items of the manu. After figuring out by ourserlves and later asking another server if one item of the menu was good the waitress came and told us they didnt hace them! The two pastas we ordered were average definetely not worth the price. I was very dissapointed. The previous visit we were at the bar and one of the bartenders was very helpful and it was another experience, one that made us go back. I guess sitting at the bar is better or maybe was bad luck with the server

Muy mala experiencia, el mesero no tomaba la orden. Las mesas de junto llevaban más de una hora y no les llegaba correcta la orden, incluso en una de ellas el mesero tocó la comida. Los meseros de apoyo se disculparon por el mal servicio.

Tardaron mucho en traernos el platillo principal, dijeron que era porque se les había pasado el término del filete que pedimos. Esperamos mucho de que nos entregaron la entrada a que nos llegara el platillo principal, al rededor de 30 minutos o más. Y no siguiera sugirieron una cortesía.

This isn’t the same La Bottega we have been going to for the past 25years. The service was good but the tables that finished around us they just left the tables empty and didn’t even clean them off or push the chairs back in. They didn’t put new table settings out. They even left the bills laying on the table amongst many crumbs. The place was half emoty- not the same La Bottega. I have been getting the truffle pillows for 15 yrs - they were not great like they used to be and my husbands salmon was just okay.
