Le restaurant offre une atmosphère romantique dans un décor élégant, un service de bar complet et de la bière française en fût. This is my favorite small French bistro in San Diego. It is such a wonderful restaurant please go.

It was a lovely experience. We had a late evening seating for Restaurant Week. The Lobster Bisque was delicious and came hot and stayed warm through the entire large bowl serving. I enjoyed the duck, but it was very rich, the Brussel Sprouts and cream sauce was good too. I was glad they bring delicious bread to the table - good for the bisque, but needed to cut the richness of the duck dish (a suggestion would be to have a small side serving of mashed potatoes, or even rice to eat with bits of the duck). The crème brûlée was perfection (my friend did not prefer the fruit on top, so I got extra). We never were short on water … excellent service! Thank you

We visited La Bonne Table during San Diego Diners Week, so our selections were only from that more selective menu. We both started with the lobster bisque and both agreed it had good flavor but was a little thinner than expected and missing any trace of actual lobster. With all that said, it still was tasty. The bread and butter served was great. My husband's pork shank was a generous serving, tender and delicious-- a real star. For a $5 extra charge above the special menu price, I ordered the NY steak, with frites and peppercorn sauce but was disappointed. The sauce and fries were good but the steak just did not seem to be of the highest grade and lacked flavor. Our desserts were ok-- I liked my crepes suzette but my husband said his creme brûlée was a little thin and not as good as he has had elsewhere. Would we go back? Well, the restaurant was charming, the service was terrific, so it is a definite maybe for a second try.

Perfect experience as always. I always come to eat dinner here when I visit San Diego. The service is impeccable, the staff friendly, the food authentically French, cocktails delectable and impressive wine list. Thank you to my friends at La Bonne Table.

We had a fantastic time at La Bonne Table. We went during restaurant week so we got to try a tasting menu. We shared the bisque & pate, the duck & pork, and the creme brulee & crepe. All were fantastic, really great portion size, and phenomenal service across the board. We look forward to coming back soon.

Our waiter was fabulous- unfortunately forgot his name . Very attentive. Was my husband’s birthday and he really enjoyed this place

As always, la Bonne Table was warm, happy and a complete pleasure the food, the wine, the service, the ambience, all magnificent.

It reminds me of the time I was eating at cafe in Paris. The food was delicious and service was great! French 75 is a must! I am not a huge gin fan but this drink was spectacular!
