Service was good but the food didn’t taste very fresh, particularly the fish (sushi and sashimi). Steak was just OK. Tasting menu doesn’t provide enough food and we had to order extra.

Overall, disappointing. The food was good but not great, particularly for the price point. Our waitress was very unfriendly and cold. I was frustrated that I could not get a small carafe of sake. The only choice was to spend over $100 on a full bottle and I was dining with my daughter, so that was not practical. We ordered some apps and sushi which again were good but did not blow my socks off. We also got the $70 steak. For that price, I expect something fabulous. It was just ok. Overall, given the food, service and prices, I would not eat here again.

Server was very friendly and knew about hockey and Canada! Food was excellent. So whose i knew what was “spicy” on the tasting menu ahead of time, but it was all excellent. They even brought a special birthday dessert for my girl!

Best sushi I've ever had. Our group loved everything we ordered (large variety of sushi, sea food and beef). Great dining experience.

We had a reservation for a friend’s birthday. We requested a booth but were told the section with open booths was closed for the remainder of the evening. They proceeded to seat the booths in the “closed section” immediately after we were seated. We requested sauce on the side of all dishes (due to different dietary restrictions) and had to ask repeatedly for the sauces which took so long we ate most of our dishes dry. Even after we got the sauces the dishes were quite underwhelming for the price. Sauce on the side was our only special request, and while trying to make things as easy as possible for our server she seemed irritated with our table all night. The restaurant did not make our friend feel special for her birthday, in fact, she mentioned she felt like a bother to everyone in the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was beautiful which saved the night.
