Le Krebs est un restaurant historique fondé en 1899 par Fred et Cora Krebs. Le restaurant est un point de repère populaire de Skaneateles depuis plus de 100 ans, au service des anciens présidents, des dignitaires et des célébrités. Le restaurant a tout simplement réouvert après des rénovations qui ont su préserver son histoire et sa beauté, tant appréciées de ses visiteurs. Le restaurant sert une cuisine sur le principe de la ferme à l'assiette et utilise le meilleur des ingrédients locaux frais et soigneusement sélectionnés, de même que des viandes et des fruits de mer de la plus haute qualité. Tous les bénéfices du restaurant sont remis à des organismes de bienfaisance du Central New York qui les femmes et les enfants.

Love this place! Hostess were kind and very attentive. I asked to be seated at the bar and I got the best spot. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and good at what they do. Had an excellent martini !! every time I come here, I get the bison tartar, which is the best I’ve ever had. So fresh and seasoned to perfection. I tried the honeydew gazpacho , which was a special I believe. WOW so much flavor and really gave summer vibes. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Shout out to chef, he is so talented and creative. Dont sleep on this place! A true culinary experience though and through.

Had dinner at The Krebs to celebrate our anniversary and take advantage of “Lobster Roll” event that they were offering! Boy are we glad we did! We were seated with minutes of our arrival, our table was perfect! Comfortable and situated for a romantic evening. We enjoyed cocktails, appetizer, entries and finished with a cup of coffee. The service was outstanding and we were not rushed between courses and were checked on by multiple staff including the manager! One of our favorite places to dine! The lobster roll as outstanding! 10 stars! I hope it’s added to the menu for the summer as I would order it again and again!!

Went for Lobster Roll night. First, fill the roll up. For "market price" ($38) I expect the thing to be overflowing with lobster. Second, fill all the rolls the same. Funny how the girls received less fill than the guys. Third pass on the Wedge Caesar salad. Delivered with pickled anchovies when told by waiter they were fresh.

Food was excellent. Our server, Marshall, was attentive but not hovering. Several staff members stopped by our table to make sure we were well cared for.

It was our first visit to Krebs and can say it was worth the trip. Overall, a very good experience and dinner.

The food, environment, and alcohol was all excellent. I got the ribeye with a butter sauce and pomme purée which was phenomenal! The service with our waiter was okay. He was a little short and unapologetic when it came to correcting some of our orders. Other than the waiter, we thought very highly here!

After a reservation at an Auburn restaurant so dirty that we ended walking out, we were delighted to be able to get a table at The Krebs. Our waiter, Marshall, was attentive and very serious about making sure we got the best possible service. The food was excellent: we shared a mussels appetizer. The mussels were a bit briny but good. I had the duck and spouse had the chicken a l'orange. Both our meals were excellent. The duck was perfectly cooked -- a huge win as duck can be hard to get right. Overall, highly recommend Krebs 1899. Price point is reasonable given the excellent food and service.

Krebs was a beautiful ambiance to visit. We enjoyed cocktails, a mushroom pate and asparagus soup as starters. Both were delicious, flavorful and items we couldn’t or wouldn’t make at home. Jasmine and crew were attentive, had good recommendations and banter. The entrees and desserts were lovely and finished despite such a full meal already. Would return, really enjoyed.
