Le Krebs est un restaurant historique fondé en 1899 par Fred et Cora Krebs. Le restaurant est un point de repère populaire de Skaneateles depuis plus de 100 ans, au service des anciens présidents, des dignitaires et des célébrités. Le restaurant a tout simplement réouvert après des rénovations qui ont su préserver son histoire et sa beauté, tant appréciées de ses visiteurs. Le restaurant sert une cuisine sur le principe de la ferme à l'assiette et utilise le meilleur des ingrédients locaux frais et soigneusement sélectionnés, de même que des viandes et des fruits de mer de la plus haute qualité. Tous les bénéfices du restaurant sont remis à des organismes de bienfaisance du Central New York qui les femmes et les enfants.

My sister and I came to just unwind and have a good night together. We loved the service, food and drinks! If you’re looking for a good night out this is the place to go!

Great service from all . The food was mediocre and overpriced . For example the waygu steak was small and the frites took up most of the plate and were more like potato sticks,difficult to eat with a fork.Very nice atmosphere although a bit dark and it made it difficult to see the menu.

Service was excellent. Waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. While the food was very good, we didn’t feel that it was a good value for the money. The meals were very costly for the amount of food we got.

We booked a table outside for our anniversary. Upon arriving the hostess sat us inside and i saw several unoccupied seats outside. I told her we had booked an outside seat specifically and she told me that I had not booked that. Feeling like it was my error I checked our reservation and showed it to her which confirmed we had booked it. She looked at it and replied, “Well we don’t have a seat for YOU outside”. She was rude about it and it put a whole damper on our first visit. There was an elitist vibe and i didn’t appreciate it. Server was fine, food was pretty good. I do not desire to return.

It was an Incredible Experience. We were celebrating my friend’s Birthday, and it was her first time. The food, service and atmosphere are all Exceptional!!! Beyond Expectations!!!! I can’t wait to dine at Kreb’s again!!! 10 Stars!!!

Lovely place! Thoroughly enjoyed the evening! Pleasant staff. The Manager stopped by to greet us! Hot faccacia was served in a hot skillet! Only one thing was the entree could have been hotter. A very special place with a big history. So glad someone brought it back!

We were 15 minutes early for our reservation; the hostess said we'd have to come back. When asked if we could wait in the bar, she snarled and said, "FINE!" and just pointed out the wait. After a 10-minute wait with only three people at the bar, we had to summon the bartender. The drinks were good. Once we got to our table, which was nice, we had to wait another 15 minutes for water and then had to summon a waitress. Twenty-five minutes later, the chicken had zero taste, and the steak was good but far from what was expected for the price. Desert, right out of the box! We ordered Irish coffees but never got them. We overheard the waitress telling this lovely old couple they didn't have physical gift cards. The couple was upset and voiced their concerns to the manager, who gave them an old gift card but told them to make sure whoever uses it notices the manager when they get seated to ensure there "weren't any problems with it." Thirty minutes later, we got the bill. When asked about the coffee, she stared at us. We said to take it off the bill, we want to go. 15 min later, a new check, 10 minutes later, a check was picked up and returned. (I think she knew we weren't enjoying our time there). The manager stopped during his rounds (of the 6 couples in the restaurant). We were very polite and told him of our long waits, summoning, and bad food. He said, "Please wait!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" (Insert expletives here). We got up and walked out; two steps out the door he handed us a physical gift card. Why would we come back? I think we'll re-gift that gift card; who knows if it's gonna work?
