I had such a good experience tonight at kona, they have a new mix and match deal that I loved 2 traditional sushi rolls for $25 I’ll definitely be coming back! And our server Jaki was so sweet and attentive!

Can to Kona for dinner with the family and it was great! Jackie was our server and she was fast and precise. She knew the menu and helped with decisions on what we were wanting! There was a different array of variety of music, which was great! The food came out warm and looking beautiful! We got a couple sushi rolls and Sangria for Happy Hour and I had the KG Burger for dinner! The experience was great and we will be back!

The servers there are so wonderful especially our server Mackenzie! The food was so good for happy hour and we got the fried calamari to start, definitely coming back for it!

There was only 2 other parties in the restaurant when we arrived yet we stood at the hostess’s desk for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us being there. The food was terrible (prime rib wasn’t pink at all, potatoes were dry) and it definitely wasn’t worth $43! My wife’s martini wasn’t brought to the table until we were done eating and ready to leave, though we asked several times for it.

The rolls and chicken satay that we had were very good and our server was great. We were very disappointed with the chicken and shrimp lettuce wraps-there was almost no meat. It was almost entirely carrots, I should have returned them. The calamari was easily the worst I have had. It was so rubbery that you couldn’t chew a piece enough to swallow it safely. It was my first time dining at Kona and I was with a few people. I didn’t want to make a big issue and send things back, but I can’t imagine returning any time soon.
