Came in for sushi Sunday. Don’t do it!!! They are super understaffed, and only have 1 person making sushi for the whole restaurant. Not only did our included salad not come out for 50 min, but it took 30 min to get a beer. Left without eating anything. I used to love this place. Def has gone down hill.

Had a reservation, didnt get seated for 20 minutes after our allotted time. Yet they were more interested in seating a big party that didnt have a reservation til after my time. Our waitress didnt actually acknowledge us for 10 minutes after we did finally sit down. Even then she missed one our drink orders and was annoyed when it was brought up. Than missed my entire entree, atleast she had the confidence to admit it and not blame it on the kitchen, luckily I ordered a sushi roll as well but I wasnt willing to wait another 20 minutes for my actual meal. Also the people attempting to get the patio heaters to hook up with the propane should be properly tough, it took 4 different people to try then finally it got to the point where it smelt like propane strongly. We left after that and went next door to California pizza kitchen to finish our evening. After going to Kona numerous times, this was a severely disappointing experience this time.

Granted it was Black Friday but we walked right in and got a table. It wasn’t that busy. Service was terrible. Waited 25 minutes for our drink order. Appetizers came out with dinner and one was forgotten. Waters were rarely refilled. The chicken lettuce wraps looked like dog food. I will say the shrimp tacos were very good but VERY spicy.

Seabass amazing!! Green beans wonderful!! The “turkey dinner” was fine. The ribeye was the thinnest I’ve seen lol—taste was good. Just seemed unorganized

The ease of making reservation with OpenTable was easy, especially for Thanksgiving. This was my first time there and with my kids, I should have looked that the menu set out for Thanksgiving day was limited. I didn’t feel the price point for the things ordered was fair, but it was a good experience overall.

First, we were seated out on the patio which was not warm enough at all being 35 degrees outside. Second, they had a shorted menu (holiday, fine) absolutely NO substituting with anything. Food came out cold. Third, had a $25 credit to use but would not honor due to the holiday. We are from out of town and do not live close to a Kona Grill. The manager I spoke to stated she was honoring the $25 but made no attempt to redo my bill and give me a credit. After explaining we are from out of town and don’t live near a Kona her solution was to give me free drink cards. I have never been dismissed by a person who appeared to not care about us giving them business. I will not recommend to anyone.

We were at our table for an hour and never received our entrees. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. Finally found a manager after we had been there for an hour fifteen and let them know we were leaving and weren’t planning on paying for the app we ate or the two iced teas we drank. Watched four tables seated after us get their food. The manager who talked to us said “I just got here so I don’t know what happened but I’m sorry. When you come back you’ll have a better experience.” We won’t be coming back.
