                                      Our server, Ali, did a great job.. even with lots of high schooler in the restaurant for homecoming.

                                      Camdyn was phenomenal. She had great recommendations and was so kind! The food was great and the value was amazing as part of the restaurant week menu!

                                      Had a great experience at Kona tonight! Wonderful service by Camdyn and could definitely tell a big improvement in everything about the restaurant. Management was very present, helping staff and checking on guests. All staff we encountered were very friendly and service oriented. Our server Camdyn did a fantastic job. Our sushi , cocktails and other food items were served timely and well prepared. Hats off to all at Kona for making big improvements and delivering an enjoyable evening.

                                      We went to Kona grill for restaurant week. We had only been to Kona once before. It was years ago and for a mothers day brunch. It was just ok. For restaurant week, we decided to give it try since it was reasonably close to where we live. We had an awesome salad that included apples and blue cheese crumbles (don't remember the name of the salad). Had prime rib for dinner and it was the best! I wasn't a real big fan of prime rib so I was a little hesitant to order it. Not disappointed at all. Had the double stacked brownie for dessert and it was one of the best desserts we've had. We do eat our fair share of sweets but often don't order it when dining out. If the regular prices weren't out of our normal budget (retired), we would eat here more often. Service was also very good. I was surprised that during restaurant week, it wasn't more crowded. We enjoyed it very much.

                                      3 of us got the fire dragon roll which says it comes “fired tableside.” All this mean is that they poor Everclear around your sushi and then light it on fire. The problem with this is that the Everclear didn’t all burn up so several of the sushi pieces tasted like straight vodka. Also, the lighter stopped working and the waiter never came back to finish lighting the 2nd plate and never lit the 3rd plate at all. So the 3rd person had sushi that was drenched in vodka. We also ordered a sushi roll specifically because it said it did not contain raw fish. However when the roll came, it was topped with raw fish which was not mentioned on the menu. The waiter was very kind but the experience was not the best and the food was definitely overpriced.

                                      Went for restaurant week. Camden was our server and she was very attentive. We appreciated our excellent service. Apps were meatballs and sushi. Both were excellent. Wife got salmon and I got prime rib. Prime rib was overcooked but they brought a satisfactory replacement and took a little off my dinner. I took home most of my dessert as it was too much food. We will co e back and ask for Camdyn.

                                      Visited during restaurant week. Service was great, food was absolutely amazing and the price of the meal was amazing for what we got! I am glad I got to try it as it was my first time visit Kona! Will definitely be back!

                                      Food was great. Prices seem a little extreme for the amount of food you get very disappointed in that seven dollars for a bottle of Miller light is a little excessive also.
