Sarah knocked our socks off with exceptional service. She had solutions for all our questions and preferences. The food choices we made with Sarah’s assistance were fantastic. We lucked out choosing the Kona grill for dinner.

The kids bento box is awesome. But we ordered the calamari they barely gave us any and it was extremely tough and chewy. For $20 not a good deal. The chicken satay was also tough. I used to come here for the happy hour and remember a much better version. I ordered th macadamia nut chicken on the Asian salad. The chicken taste is excellent but they gave me a tiny bit on a huge bed of cabbage. My husband ordered the ribeye surf and turf. The steak it was a little overdone but still tasty. It had a lot of butter on it so that helped. Mashed potatoes were basic. The lobster roll was okay. Overall it’s a good place to bring my kids because they loved it. But as someone who has frequented the place a lot about 8 years ago I was a bit disappointed in the quality. I understand inflation is high and they are skimping on the portions I’d rather them just raise the prices and increase the quality though.

Went to Kona for a happy hour birthday celebration. Happy hour prices are relatively reasonable, place is not too crowded at 4 pm. Big plus, since we were there for a birthday, they included a cake with a candle, a scoop of ice cream, and another piece of cake. It was such a surprise. If you order the sushi roll on the happy hour menu, it is a full size roll which was also a surprise. Server was very helpful and polite.

Love the food – love the service – love the management at Kona! We need more of these! The food is spot on – the sushi, the burger, the soup, the appetizers – everything is perfect. Service from Angelica is always the best!

Came here for the first time for our weekly date night. Service and atmosphere was great; not too loud, able to hear each other. For the price, we were not impressed at all with the food. My wife had the Poke Bowl, it tasted very salty; at first thinking it would compliment the rice, but no, it was just too salty. Also, the salmon wasn't deboned, she had found a bone in the poke. For a restaurant that makes everything from scratch, finding a salmon bone in the salmon poke is unacceptable; salmon bone can be removed so easily while prepping the fish. I had the Lemon Garlic Penne, it was okay, the portion was decent. We also had the angry edamame, which tasted okay, the sauce tasted like tapatio. Nothing to write home about. Restrooms were clean, multiple stalls. Parking was pretty easy, just depending on the time of day/night. Would not recommend. Perhaps coming for the bar would be a wiser choice.

My husband & I went to Kona Grill for my birthday. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and as always weren’t disappointed!! Brunch was delicious and the watermelon mimosa was amazing! Our server, Sam, made my birthday that more special. She was one of the best servers my husband and I have ever had. Very personable and professional. We will always ask to be seated in her area when we go back in the future!!
