There was a weird smell, like old carpet. The service was nice though. The food was decent. The fried rice really didn’t taste like fried rice. More like instant. The shrimp was a little too salty and so were the Brussels sprouts. They could have been a little more crispy.

Came from the gym and we were hungry. We decided to stop here to eat since it is open until 1am. The host sat us at the table. I asked about the 3 course menu that I saw on open table when I reserved. She didn't know. Then she came over and said the system was down and we can't order. She took our menus away.

Miso soup , bad taste. One of drinks are no good. Kona grill calamari , sauce to much spicy.

Not the worst. Not the best. The server was wonderful however our food came to our table in a haphazard way I.e. the appetizer then the mains then the salads. We had to ask multiple times for the heaters to be turned on. Their computer system was down and we waited for a very long time to pay our check; however ultimately had to leave without paying. To no ones particular fault it was just an off night for them and we most likely won’t go back.

First time here. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Sushi was very average. Honestly., I've had better at Kroger. We both had sushi and 1 beer each. The total was 70.00, before tip. Overpriced for the average meal. The cake at the end for his birthday was the best part of the night. I was underwhelmed.

Enjoyable meal, my server was fantastic, attentive and timely. When I asked about food preparation he was super knowledgeable... The Sea Bass sliders are definitely must... My steak could have had a little more char on it, although it was cooked as I ordered... Obiance was great, highly recommend....

The staff at Kona Grill are amazing. Very attentive and on top of it. The food was outstanding! We celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday here with 15 of her friends. Everybody was well taken care of and everyone had an amazing time. Thank you, for making my daughter’s birthday the best!

I went just for Alpharetta Restaurant Week! The 3 course selection on their Dinner Menu was so yummy.

This was our first experience at Kona and we were joined by guests from out-of-town. The location and ambiance is very good. We sat outside and enjoyed the surroundings of Avalon on a cool, but comfortable evening. Our server was pleasant and checked on us numerous times during our meal. The food, however, was very disappointing. Two of my guests ordered Miso soup ($13/bowl). The soup was so salty as to be inedible. We rarely complain or return food, but this was so bad that we had to notify the server. It should have been removed from our bill, but we found that we had been charged and had to bring it to the restaurant's attention to issue a credit. Two of us ordered the French Dip ($25 each w/house chips). The sandwiches were "Ok", but no better than sandwiches I've had in many local taverns for $15 including fries. The house chips had no seasoning. We joked we should have kept the Miso soup as a dipping sauce for the chips. They also tasted stale. In short, we didn't expect to get a high-end dinner at Kona, but with prices in the mid-high level, we expected a higher than average quality of food. What we experienced as average quality or less. Disappointing and won't be going back.

Sea bass is bland and extremely small portions. Mine was small pie shaped, my friends was elongated. I ordered a side and the plate looked barren with a small piece of fish. Could be a lunch portion with a lunch menu price.
