We are from California where great Sushi is easy to find. Since moving to Maine, we had not eaten sushi out, and was pleasantly Surprised by the atmosphere, the service, and the food was delicious! Great Sushi and combo dinners. Will be going back. :)

we were a party of 12 celebrating a birthday and we were disappointed that we were seated at a table with 5 other people when there were many empty hibachi tables available. In fact there was several tables that just had 2 people. not sure why we had to share ??

We visit often. Many unique items on the menu and we have never had a bad meal. The service is always great too.

Everything was great. EXCEPT for our uncaring server. We felt as if we were ”inconveniencing “ her when this was her job. No customers=no job! Food was terrific. Chef was amazing and we would go back if they decided to remove this nasty waitress!

We waited almost an hour to place our order. My husband spoke to waitress twice. We were told that the chefs were in an argument. Moments before we stood up to go a waitress came for our order. We stayed and people enjoyed their meal but a couple of orders were screwed up. We go to kon often because it’s fun for a large group of people, but this may be the last time we go due to the poor service.

We thought the food was bland . It was so highly rated we skipped one of our favorite restaurants to eat there and we were very disappointed .

If you are looking for a casual dining experience with Asian food, this is a great option. We dined here after picking a family member up from the Amtrak station on a Friday night. It was pretty busy. Nevertheless, service was prompt and friendly. We did avoid hibachi choices because of a delay in preparation due to heavy demand, so ordered other menu choices. Our dining included both sushi and other Asian selections, all which were tasty. We also had mixed drinks, which were done well. The ambience was fine, not a defining feature for the place but it was comfortable, open, and clean. Would definitely come back here.
