Le Koji, un concept de Mark Barnett, chef-propriétaire du Mao Tai & Nobuisha Takahashi et ancien chef principal des sushis au Nobu, se trouve maintenant entre les mains expertes du chef Rolando Ongcoy, provenant également du même établissement distingué, le Nobu. Le Chef Rolando combine ses habiletés et son talent accompli avec sa vaste expérience en cuisine japonaise pour créer et maintenir le concept de la cuisine japonaise contemporaine du Koji. Le KOJI est un restaurant japonais dynamique et contemporain où les amis peuvent  se réunir et partager des assiettes de nourriture japonaise délicieuses et magnifiquement préparées,   avec des influences sud-américaines et des notes occidentales. Du tempura aux viandes aromatiques grillées, au poisson et aux légumes cuits sur le gril au charbon robata, en passant par les sushis et sashimis fraîchement préparés au bar à sushis où vous pouvez vous asseoir, manger et regarder travailler les chefs du Koji, vous vous délecterez! Impressed with its exceptional Japanese cuisine and outstanding service, although the lively atmosphere can be somewhat noisy. Highly recommended for a taste of authentic, expertly crafted dishes.

The restaurant atmosphere is very nice and it’s a great place for a special occasion. However I feel the food was very expensive. £7-12 for a single piece of nigiri felt a bit much. The beer and sake were great.

Don’t go expecting authentic Japanese food. It’s more American Japanese. For example the ‘tempura’ is just an ordinary batter not tempura at all. The restaurant has a buzzy atmosphere and is obviously very popular
