After making reservations well in advance we were sat at the table nearest the kitchen where it was very noisy. Our reservation was scheduled for 6pm and we were not sat until 6:20. We did not get served drinks until 6:45pm (we had to get up from our table to ask someone else to check on our drinks). There appeared to be several large parties (our server was working one of them). Clearly understaffed! The food was good. We are locals and have noticed that we always seem to have to wait despite having reservations. Almost $300 for 2 people… I expect way better when it comes to service. I don’t know when we will be back as this service level seems to be the baseline now.

Restaurant is on the bay, great view or the city and SF airport. Staff was friendly, food well prepared. Ahi Poke was perfect, the carrot cake for dessert is enough for 2 and just delicious.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinners. The Prime Rib was outstanding. Entree needed some kind of vegetables with it. My husband's ciopinno was a bit messy but good. Server forgot to give him utensil to crack the crab. Will invite friends in a couple of weeks to try your menu. Thank you.

Very disappointed with the food and service we received. We ordered the $49 special menu, and it took a while to get the salad and our cocktail order. But we were only 3 bites into our salad, when the entrees arrived. The server took them back to the kitchen and our waiter claimed that he brought them to the wrong table. When the entrees were brought out a second time, it tasted like they had been sitting on the warmer and not fresh entrees. The prime rib and asparagus were cold, and the mashed potatoes were gummy. The waiter asked if we wanted bread, when he took our order, but we had to remind him twice to bring it. We travel to the Bay Area several times a year and stay at the Embassy Suites, so we usually have dinner here while we are in town. We also lived in the Bay Area and considered Kincaid's our special place to have dinner.

Incredible food and service as always. My partner and I enjoyed wine, cocktails, salads, crab dip, and entrees. Overall amazing experience.

The house was packed as it was NYE. The service was efficient and the staff was friendly. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. My lobster tail was a tad overcooked but it didn’t take away from the good flavors of everything.

We decided on Kincaid’s for our anniversary dinner while we were staying in the South San Francisco area. Turned out to be an excellent decision. We were seated at a table by the window with a great view. Lobster bisque was excellent. We split a Caesar salad, which was chilled and fresh and plenty for two people. The table bread was warm, fresh, and crispy. Both of our fresh fish dishes (Mahi Mahi and Chilean Sea Bass) were cooked to perfection. In addition, I ordered the 3 scallops accompaniment and between being pan seared to perfection and the sauce they came in they literally melted in my mouth. For dessert, my wife had crème brûlée, which is her favorite and I had cheesecake. Our server, T-Pop, was fun and energetic and enhanced the quality of the meal. He also comped my wife’s dessert, which was a nice, generous gesture. Honestly, I do not submit many reviews, but with such an overall wonderful experience, I felt compelled to do so in this case. Make a good choice and go to Kincaid’s Bayhouse!
