I had dinner tonight with my three children and my wife at 5 o’clock. It took us 35 minutes to get a drink order after we put an appetizers then finally before we got our appetizers it took about 40 minutes until we could order a entrées within 40 minute timeframe and order another drink And didn’t get it until 6 PM. Server brought four waters and didn’t bring one for my two-year-old but we tried to shake it off and just realize it’s Kichi. We’ve been coming there for 10 years and my kids had spilt rice on the floor and on the seats, which would take anyone to the service industry, you know four or five minutes to clean up when we left the Server had the nerve to tell my wife, your click kids were very messy and they left a big mess. Please do you should be do better next time and I can’t believe it made my wife feel uncomfortable so I went in there and confronted her and let her know it was very unprofessional for her to tell me that my kids were messy, when most children are and if you’re in the service industry, you learn to deal with that and we we tipped her well and it was just really gross. I’ve never had that traveling the world in my whole history and we have some Server make a reckless remark. It’s just low class and trashy. I couldn’t believe it. I wouldn’t told her she was unprofessional, and my wife cried driving home and we don’t come back here ever after dining here for 10 years we don’t ever wanna come back. I wanna tell all our friends and people that we know never go there. We always try to never mind the service takes forever. There’s no difference between the service in Denny’s and here tonight, but at least Dennys they don’t tell you that your kids are messy. It was just so out of line and unprofessional. I really hope the owner or the manager sees this and really retrain the staff or connect with this individual just shocking unprofessional and trashy. I mean, I could’ve cleaned up the mess myself. I’ve cleaned up tons of kids

First time dining here. We both enjoyed our dinner starting with the vegetable tempura, miso soup We both enjoyed seafood entrees that were cooked perfectly. Cocktails were good as was the service.

Wonderful dinner. Chef’s special sushi roll, lamb chops, ono special, Mac and avacado salad, everything we tried was superb. I can highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent as usual! We had to go one last time before leaving Kona and we weren’t disappointed! A different Mahi special with noodles and an ahi spring roll and spider roll were superb! Malia our server was marvelous and the two owners couldn’t have been more gracious! Thanks again for a lovely evening and see you when we return to Kona

Quality of food amazing. Chefs have menu items dialed to perfection. Haven’t had a bad dish there. Servers have been helpful and attentive. My Go To place when I have visitors in town. Drinks are great and desserts ono as well. Can’t go wrong if you are a foodie or can appreciate good food

It was quite simple superb! We made a second trip back before we leave Kona and it was marvelous! The mahi specials were outstanding as were the sushi roll specials.. and we also tried the firecracker shrimp and sashimi all perfect! Our server Jacob was so kind and professional always looking out to see if we needed anything… another great night and we’ll try visit one more time before leaving Kona

What a wonderful evening we had again! We feel like family when we are here! It’s the first place we come back to when we come to Kona! They’ve added some beautiful new decor to the setting which is lovely to begin with… the Ono and the calamari and the tuna and spider rolls were simply superb! They never disappoint here! Malia our server is so sweet and professional and a joy to be around! And the new owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly… great place! Go please… we’re going back at least once before we leave
