Kendell's Bistro est un établissement qui propose l'ambiance décontractée des bistrots français qui met l'accent sur des repas, des vins et un service de qualité. En toute décontraction, pas de serveurs venant remplir votre verre à vin après chaque gorgée ou se faufilant derrière vous avec un moulin à poivre de 15 cm de haut. Accueillant, mais sans prétention, avec des serviettes en tissu non amidonnées, des menus écrits sur un tableau noir et une cuisine ouverte, ce restaurant vous propose un cadre intimiste pour déguster vos repas à la lueur vacillante des bougies. En fait, ils sont si français que le pain est offert et le service est compris dans l'addition !                                                                       Ok but wouldn’t book again. Didn’t receive my change which I would have added to for a tip but they just kept it. Poor ambience. Food was good and wine was ok.

                                                                      A wonderful way to spend a wedding anniversary. We were treated really well by the staff, they all wished us a happy anniversary and we were given fizz on arrival and chocolate to finish. The food was delicious, will definitely be returning

                                                                      Disappointing visit. Usually get a lovely greeting on arrival. Table was booked for 530 but the doors werent opened till 545, no apology or explanation. Staff didnt seem happy. Service was ok but food was not up to the usual standard. Hoping its an off day as been several times and recommended Kendells to many.

                                                                      Excellent food but ordered a double espresso and was given filter coffee. When challenged the waitress said it was the same coffee they always had…! I know the difference between espresso and filter coffee so a very disappointing way to end a lovely meal. Staff were clueless and poorly trained!

                                                                      As a group of 4 we each chose something different and no one was dissapointed. Would recommend the lamb dishes. Intimate atmosphere with a nice selection of drinks to choose from including low alcohol.

                                                                      We have visited Kendals a number of times and not only was it fabulous on this occasion, it has been consistently brilliant for years. The food is great , not overly manipulated , authentic french cuisine . The service is exceptional. Even when it's extremely busy everything is timely , perfectly served and of a great quality. Would heartily reccomend Kendal's to anyone.

                                                                      Beautiful food in this gorgeous restaurant. On arrival the ambiance took our breath away. Couldn’t fault the service very attentive staff. The food and wine was Devine with a fabulous choice on the menus. Just one complaint but unfortunately it spoilt our visit, there was a table of 18 behind us having their Christmas party and the noise was ridiculous we actually couldn’t talk on our table as couldn’t hear ourselves. I understand there are a lot of Christmas parties at this time and have been to many myself but I feel this restaurant isn’t right for such parties. I did mention it when leaving and was informed that due to the closures during Covid they had to take as many bookings as they could. I understand but it was disappointing.
