Had an excellent meal. Wagyu on heated stone is too die for. Also loved the Lobster Tempura. We have been to several of their locations and enjoy them all. This location is more expensive than Encino but more stylish.

Had a wonderful experience at Katsuya! Went to check out their Dine LA evening dinner menu and it was spectacular! The food was incredible! Our server Luis (and Chelsea) took such good care of us! Luis added to the dining experience and really help to make it a spectacular date night. Don’t snooze on checking out their Dine LA menus! So good and can’t wait for the next one!

Had a lovely preshow dinner experience at Katsuya before going to Pantages. I was lucky to be able to get this last minute reservation as I had booked another restaurant which cancelled on me due to the restaurant unexpectedly having to close their kitchen. We ordered some appetizers and the sushi set followed by dessert. The presentation was beautiful, the sushi so fresh and ample portions for sharing amongst the 4 of us. Service was excellent. Will definitely choose this restaurant again for a preshow dinner.

We like to have our pre-theater meals at Katsuya Hollywood. They offer valet parking for the duration of the event saving time and effort. We were running late this evening. Our server understood and expedited our meal service. There was no compromise in taste or quality. We made it to the show with plenty of time. Fortunately for us, our show happened to fall within the Dine L.A. window, and we went for the special meal Katsuya was offering: a 3-course meal for $65.00 I chose the rock shrimp and the lobster tempura for our appetizers, and the portions were so generous that we could have stopped there. Rice and miso soup were served and out came our entrees, both of us going for the black cod miso which is so tender and delicious! Dessert consisted of mochi ice cream which were light, sweet and just the perfect ending to our memorable meal.

Would pass on the chicken katsu bites, but everything else was delicious....especially the crispy corn roll!

Loved the food and the atmosphere, but it was a bit tough to get any service from our server. She was lovely and very helpful when she was able to visit our table, but seemed like she had too many tables to be able to provide the level of service I'd expect from an elevated restaurant like Katsuya. The sahimi is incredible though and we sincerely enjoyer our time even with the service being below par.
