I just want to say that Koda/Coda in the front as a hostess in the beginning of a beautiful experience at Katsuya. She handles high stress with such grace and lights up the place with her beautiful smile. Keep her there - she is AMAZING - so warm and lovely. 5 stars. Honestly the whole staff is amazing but Koda/Coda definitely is the highlight of the whole experience. Give her a raise !!!

I’ve been coming here for years, but the food is just not that great anymore. The crispy rice with avocado is basically a slabbered guacamole for $22 on crispy rice way too much money for their serving.

Food and service was excellent. We were going after dinner to see Hamilton, so the restaurant was location was also super convenient. Next time I will reserve a seat at the bar to see the sushi being made. My back was to the restaurant, so I couldn't enjoy the ambiance.

I had high hopes for this sushi restaurant given its reputation, but unfortunately, our experience was far from great. Despite the elegant ambiance and promising menu, the service was a major letdown. Our waiter forgot more than half of our order and seemed to disappear for long stretches of time, leaving us sitting at the table wondering where our food was. We had to flag down other staff multiple times just to check in. For a high-end establishment, this level of service is unacceptable. The food that did arrive was good, but the frustrating service completely overshadowed the experience.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Katsuya! We brought my 95 year old mother here last night after Hamilton and they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! We were able to go in the back entrance and had a special table. The food was delicious and the service terrific! We will be back!

I have been eating at Katsuya for many years. I ordered many of the same things that I always order. And it was one of the 10 best meals that I have ever had in my life I asked to speak to the chef who had worked his way up to the kitchen to complement him on an exceptional meal. Something I almost never do.
