The food and service were outstanding. We were seated in the darker back area (I prefer the front dining area with more natural light) but Katana is always a great dining experience.

Sushi was phenomenal! Asked our waiter Matt to turn the overall music down, it was too loud to have a table conversation. Overall an amazing experience!

The food was really nice, I’d say the best sushi around . The service was very good too. Everybody was so kind. Four stars because of the place. They can decorate it in a better way.

Once we actually got service (we were seated for 10 minutes before someone other than the host greeted us) our experience was great! We ordered the pork gyozas, volcano roll, salmon roll, katana roll, and the sunrise roll. The food was fresh and delish! Only slight complaint about the food was we did get a few doughy pieces in the gyoza but besides that Y U M! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive we could tell they may have just been understaffed that evening. Would 100% go back!

Although the sushi was great, the service was inexcusable. We placed our full order (for 2 people) all at one time - 4 nigiri & spicy tuna roll to be brought out first, then 3 rolls to be brought out as our main. None of the rolls were fried or needed to be cooked. It took us 45+ minutes to get the nigiri & spicy tuna & then another 45+ minutes to get our other rolls. We did not receive our main until 1.5 hours after we ordered. Although our server apologized for the delay when they finally stopped at the table, they did nothing proactively to make our experience better. And this was during a Tuesday night with a reservation. We, unfortunately, won’t be returning.

Food was delicious and service was great. My only request would be for a larger beer selection. We will be eating here again.

Katana is my favorite sushi restaurant since moving out of Seattle. We went to many before we found Katana. The fish is very fresh. Katana has wild salmon. That is a rare find. Rolls are delicious too. Matthew is a wonderful server.

This restaurant is a favorite for all 3 kids and I actually introduced this restaurant to my boyfriend as well. It’s definitely a special treat for all of us when we go. Sushi is outstanding and the wait staff are friendly and efficient!
