Great food, however our server was not attentive and he kept forgetting to bring things to us!

We stopped by for a light dinner. I had the Mediterranean Chopped Salad which was amazing. So fresh. My sister had the Asian salad which I don’t even see on the menu but she thought was just so so. We split the Margherita Pizza which was pretty good. I had a local IPA and a glass of their own KG Private Label Which was good. We split the Crème Brûlée trio which was just so so. Nothing was unpleasant and my salad was amazing. We sat inside in a booth by the kitchen which was fun.

Tourist trap! We had a 4:30pm reservation for 9. They sat us on the patio at tables that were too small to accommodate us even though there was NO ONE else in the restaurant. The hostess was very nice. Our server was not friendly, not attentive and seemed like he wished he wasn’t there. They charged us $6 to cut our shared steak in half! Food was mediocre at best and prices were high! Will not ever go again and would not recommend it anyone.

We had reservations for 5:30. We arrived at 5:36. The host made the comment, “We were just getting ready to break down your table.” That was rude and uncalled for. We waited 20 minutes just to get our drinks, a 45 minute wait to get our salads, then finally the main course came. Our waiter never checked on us during our entire dinner. Another person checked with us only once to see if we needed something else to drink. We were a table of six, three couples. He brought one check. We asked if he would divide the check and he said it was too late and we should have told him before he brought the check. The food was good, the cocktails were tasty. It’s unfortunate that the service was so poor. We had been to Kaiser Grille on a prior occasion and sat at the bar. The experience was pleasant so that is why we brought two other couples tonight. I was embarrassed and disappointed that I recommended Kaiser Grille to them. They all agreed that the food was good but the ambiance and service were definitely below average. With all the competition, I would think a restaurant would strive to make their customers’ full experience their top priority.

Great food, great location in Palm Spring. The patio seating is on side walk way, great view. They have big dinning room inside for big group party.

The setting would get a 5 if they had better air conditioning. 96° is not unusual for Palm Springs, and it must have been over 80° in the dining room. The waiter was for the most part, very attentive and his recommendation for the oakiness of the Chardonnay’s available by the glass was spot on. He disappeared for at least 10 minutes, if not at the end of the meal. We had to ask another staff member for the check, after which our waiter appeared promptly, excusing himself. He explained the manager was talking to him. So, perhaps the missing star should be given to the manager. We probably should have ordered the steak. My dining companion had the beef tips bourguinon. There was no hint of bacon in the final dish and there were no pearl onions or hint of onion in the dish. (Onions were mentioned in the description and are in a traditional recipe for this dish.) Nor was there any hint of garlic, another traditional ingredient. The description said there was sour cream in the dish. It turned out to be more Stroganoff than Burgundy. My paella missed the mark entirely. The liquid the rice was cooked in wasn’t very flavorful. The rice was not dry enough. This may in part have been due to the paella pan being too deep. The chicken, that is mostly cooked in advance needed to be seasoned more. There were no onions, or as far as I could tell, garlic. Last, the description of the dish on the menu said there was lobster. I didn’t see anything that looked like lobster and I didn’t taste anything like lobster.

We split a salad it was very good but not much lettuce but still very good. It took awhile to get our meal but we saw a large group leaving to get on a bus.
