The Juniper is outside of the city of Banff so it's a nice place to escape the crowds. The view of the mountains surrounding Banff from the restaurant and patio is superb, particularly at sunset. Service is friendly and attentive. Food is well crafted, inventive and nicely presented. We had (and can highly recommend) the Inspired greens, Roasted cauliflower and ravioli, along with the pistachio cake dessert. Dining room is quiet, tables are well spaced and has an easy feel to it. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the Banff area.

The food was excellent and the service was great. Banish did an awesome job of taking care of us. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very tasty dinner and drinks with view to boot! We sat by the fire and it was cozy and our bartender took care of us. Great service and I would definitely go back.

We are staying at the hotel, so it was wonderful just to walk downstairs to have dinner on a rainy evening. Excellent food service and the view was still good despite the weather. Highly recommend .

This restaurant has a great view and that’s it. The server was very nice. The cleanliness of the restaurant and staff left much to be desired. All the food also came out cold. Not great.

The Juniper Bistro provided a great spot for brunch. The restaurant is away from the busy, centre of downtown Banff. It has convenient parking and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere with great views of Rundle and Sulphur mountains and the Bow Valley from the restaurant and outdoor patio. We ordered the Prairie Berry Waffle, the Mountain Chilaquiles and the Eggs Benedict. All items were delicious, well presented and substantially sized. The Juniper Bistro is a good choice if you want an uncrowded location, superb views and great food for good value.

Service was wonderful! All the staff seemed friendly. The burger is excellent! Views from the patio are stunning. We were not able to sit outside because of the wasps, but we popped out there for a quick picture. This is best for breakfast or a very early lunch.
