    Summerlicious Experience ☀️ We hit up Jump in the financial district to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday with some friends, and boy, did we have a blast! Jump was pretty chill for a Saturday night, which was perfect for our celebration. We had a reservation, so getting to our table was a breeze. A couple of friends were fashionably late (thanks, TO traffic! 😉), but the restaurant staff didn’t rush us at all and took our drink orders while we waited. The appetizers arrived in no time – the Ahi Tuna Ceviche was a refreshing start! For the mains, the linguine with pangrattato was just okay, but the steak? Absolutely divine! It was seasoned nicely and definitely the highlight of the night. We wrapped up our meal with a delightful peach tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to our evening. 🍑🍮 Service was top-notch! Our server checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a spot to catch up with friends without the loud music, Jump is the place to be ☺️

    Great location and ambiance. I had the Summerlicious lunch prix fixe for $41 excluding taxes and tip. The cold courgette soup, shrimp jambalaya and thai sticky rice for dessert. The food was well crafted although the portions were fine except for the main which was on the small side. My favourite was the soup which was light and refreshing. My friends had the the pan seared trout, poke bowl and the burger with fries. They looked amazing. The food that is.

    My friends and I went for Summerlicious. Their Summerlicious menu was awesome! We had salad, steak, ribs, pasta, rissoto, tiramisu, chocolate cake and Mango sticky pudding. Salad, Steak, Ribs, fries and corn bread were so delish!

    This is the second lunch I've had in as many months, and the experience was the same: good food in an underwhelming environment with just-okay service. Maybe I'm missing something, but Jump just doesn't justify its prices. We got water and menus right away -- and then the server disappeared for about 15 minutes. It was lunch but it was hardly busy. We ordered from the Summerlicious menu. Fantastic soup and desert, but the main: a chicken sandwich, tasty enough, but sloppy and skimpy on the chicken. With fries that were stiff and tasteless. (We had a couple and left the rest.) Service between the courses was non-existent. No bread -- is this a new thing? No pouring of the wine. And speaking of: $23 for a 9oz glass of Cave Spring Riesling. It's actually a wonderful table wine and I know it well. It's a refreshing and crisp riesling, but Jump's was as though the bottle had been open for days. No life and hardly cold. And it retails for $16/bottle at the LCBO, and Jump is selling it for $60/bottle (and this glass for $23). That's a 375% mark-up, and that's just a plain rip-off. Summerlicious last year was wonderful: great service and a lovely meal. This year it's two strikes and, well, I'm not waiting around for the third strike. Jump's out.

    The carrot with bacon soup was delicious. The Bay Streek Poke with Tofu is excellent. The Tofu is crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside and very flavorful. While o would have preferred a bit more greens on the plate but as a summer dish it was light and satisfying.

    Good food, stellar service. Food was a bit cold when it came out though. Prices good for the location and this reflected in the food. It was good, but not superb. You get exactly what you are paying for. I would go back if in the area but not a special trip.
