I’ve been to Jue lan dozens of times,but last night was not a good experience at all.First off they sat us by the door and had the door open,plus the ac on so it was cold.Granted he turned the ac off,but it was still a chill in the air.The manager stated that the owner was holding tables for DJSELF,therefore we could not sit in the main room,with a reservation while the other party didn’t arrive until at least 30-40 mins after we were seated.Then our waiter was horrible,only came one time after we gestured for him to come.I asked for a cup of ice,and he never brought it over.15 mins go by,finally my brother just goes to the bar to get it for me.We waited almost 30 mins for the check due to him never coming to our table,even after it was cleared off.To top it off,as they have in the past,which I admit I didn’t correct them,even though we were only a party of 3 on two occasions,mainly because the server was good,but they add an automatic 20% gratuity to parties of 4,or more,which we were a group of 3.The manager adjusted the bill saying that the computer system automatically adds it.Thats a problem because your menu,and your website says party of 4,or more.Plus our waiter didn’t deserve a $41 tip.While I was telling the manager about our waiters service he stood there listening to me,which I clearly don’t care because it’s the truth,he sucked his teeth and walked away with a attitude.I’ve always liked Jue lan club,but I won’t be back for a while.The hostess’s have attitude problems as well.If your not a known celebrity,they don’t have great attitudes to be front of the house.Tip though,you never know who someone is,not all wealth is known by the face.Treat people kindly,it goes far.

Attended for restaurant week. Happy hour options were strong and worth the price (originally $20, happy hour drinks are $10). Food was so good, and filling will definitely come again.

Great experience. Food was delicious. Good customer service. Ambiance was great and they played hip hop and r&b music.

Went for restaurant week which was listed on the restaurant and when I arrive I was told it wasn’t restaurant week okay me and my best friend ordered the food was not good at all.

Music was loud. Waited 25 minutes for a waiter and over an hour for food. The food was bland and not authentic. If you are looking for Instagram pictures go here, if you want good food and drinks don’t go here

I made reservations for 9pm when I arrived they said they had no tables that I had to wait 40 mins and had to be outside with I reserved inside… it took one hour to get a martini and service was horrible

I had made reservation prior to coming when I arrived I had to wait thirty minutes for a table because it was crowded. The hostess was not Nice about saying it she was rude . The appetizer took so long to come they gave us a free one . I thought I would enjoy it but it was not as upscale as it was supposed to be

We went during restaurant week as well as during the happy hour. The happy hour prices were very fair, drinks were strong & good, food portion was generous and the bartenders were attentive. The dinner restaurant week deal was fantastic - $45 for 3 courses & the portion sizes again was generous. This is normally a pricey restaurant so I Would definitely recommend going during happy hour
