Founded by Joso Spralja in the 1960′s, Joso’s restaurant has achieved continuous success of over 36 years in business and is considered a landmark of the Toronto hospitality scene.     Finally made it to Joso’s and after a two year anticipation it did not disappoint! It’s a great gem of authentic Adriatic seafood in a cozy environment with down to earth friendly staff. I can’t wait to go back again.

    If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, Joso’s is it. The food and service are excellent. There are lots of great choices on the menu that can be shared. There is an impressive selection of fresh fish and a wonderful selection of wines that complement the food. Our party of four shared the Grilled Calamari and the Grilled Prawns to start. For our mains one person had the Gamberoni with a Dalamatian Potato Salad; another had the Alla Jadera; another person had the Alla Leonardo and someone else had the Grilled Sardines. Everyone in our party loved every dish we had. The staff do a wonderful job of making you feel at home. The service is seemless and professional. When we asked what choice of Croatian wine would complement our food choices, she suggested one that was an excellent choice with everyone’s dish. It was so nice to have someone who was knowledgeable to assist us with our wine and food choices. Her attentive and professional manner as well as her excellent suggestions were appreciated. Our party had an enjoyable dining experience thanks to her. Joso’s is one restaurant that never disappoints because the food is always fresh and delicious and the service is first class.

    This was the most phenomenal dining experience I have had in a while. The food was off the charts, service was exceptional and overall experience was unmatched. Will be going back for the spaghettini alla Leonardo and risotto pescatora.
