Posant un nouveau regard sur la cuisine américaine, à base d'ingrédients de première qualité, le Jo's American Bistro propose un cadre haut de gamme avec une atmosphère décontractée et confortable. Vous pourrez déguster des fruits de mer délicieux, plusieurs plats sans gluten, ainsi que des viandes naturelles, élevées si possible sans hormones et antibiotiques. WOW! This place is amazing! Tara our server was awesome! I am a true Celiac, and they go out of their way to assure that there is no contamination. Food is served on separate plates and even the bread is separated. My husbands bread came in a small brown bag! The food was amazing, We started with the pumpkin bisque soup, very good! (Not overwhelming in pumpkin flavor) I had scallops with bacon tomato risotto! So good! My husband had the pork chop which he said was so tender. We ended dinner with a pumpkin cheesecake for him and I had the crème brûlée absolutely delicious! I had not had such good gluten free food in a long time! Thank you for making our dinner so enjoyable!!!!

We came here again to enjoy their restaurant week menu. The offerings sounded great and turned out even better. We had the autumn bisque and a BBQ or bao bun. Both were very good, especially the bisque. The dinners were stellar, I had duck a deux and she had a tomahawk pork chop. Both meals were over the top in flavors and taste. The duck breast with luxurious cherry sauce was a big hit. The pork chop looked impressive and even tasted better. The sweet potato mashed went well with the dish. Not to be left out, their 2 desserts kept impressing. The apple caramel cake and pumpkin cheesecake really topped off a great dining experience. The server was very nice and attentive This was a great dining experience

Jo's offered three different menus today -- We chose from the Restaurant Week (March and November only) and the prix fixe, and all the dishes were spectacular at a truly bargain price. The duck was perfectly seared and at the right temperature; the surf and turf and the salmon portions were generous and prepared to exactly medium rare. The servings were very substantial, but more importantly they were delicious and perfectly prepared and plated. THERE IS NO PLACE ELSE IN NEWPORT THAT PROVIDES THIS QUALITY AT THIS PRICE. One side note -- a member of our party noted that "You can always judge a restaurant by its bread", and if so Jo's comes out on top! The bread is delicious! The restaurant was very busy on a Tuesday night in November. Make sure you get reservations. That said, service was quick, friendly and efficient. The ambience was excellent -- plenty of distance between tables, lighting was good but not too bright, seats were comfortable. One recommendation I would make to the restaurant is to once again add some international and regional variety to the wine list; it is currently a bit heavy on the Californias in both reds and whites. We had a Malbec and a Vermentino, two of the very few international selections, and both were excellent. That said, wine pricing was pretty reasonable even for the higher-end Californias (Prisoner, Grgich Hills).

Our party of four dinned at Jo's during Newport Restaurant Week. In one word, outstanding! For appetizers, we had the scallops, mushroom puff pastry, and the Korean BBQ; our entrees were Surf and Turf and Duckling; our desserts were apple cake and pumpkin cheesecake. Every bite was delicious. Drinks were perfection. I can honestly say, this was one of the best meals I have had. I highly recommend Jo's, Restaurant Week or any time of year.

Good location a little away from the hub bub with easy street parking. Staff was lovely and the piping hot rolls in a brown paper bag was a nice touch. Food is well prepared and overall a solid safe choice in Newport

Food is always very good and tasty, fresh and well prepped. Service has always been incredible. I’m a local, frequent and loyal patron but still remain very objective.
