Posant un nouveau regard sur la cuisine américaine, à base d'ingrédients de première qualité, le Jo's American Bistro propose un cadre haut de gamme avec une atmosphère décontractée et confortable. Enjoyed food and setting but greeting on arrival and meal service felt perfunctory. We booked for 8.00 p.m.on a Sunday evening and felt they were keen to close.

We ordered from the prix fixe menu. It’s a wonderful menu at an incredibly fair price which includes a glass of wine, a starter, and a varied entre menu.

Jo’s is one of our favorite places to dine in Newport. The food and service is incredible. Jimmy is always welcoming at the front door and Tracy is our favorite server. The menu has a great variety and the cocktails are delicious. We highly recommend Jo’s to anyone looking for a 5 star dining experience!

Fantastic early dinner after a concert. We were seated immediately despite being early, wait staff was extremely pleasant and attentive, and food was delicious.

Our server was Kaylin and she was outstanding. The service was first rate and the food was prepared to perfection.

Very quaint place with great food. The waitress Tara made our visit special by recognizing our anniversary with amazing crème brûlée wish was a great surprise.

This is our 2nd visit & I can’t wait to go back! I had the pork chop with a caramelized, onion and bacon topping with mashed sweet potato, and it was so moist and tender and flavorful absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to try more of their foods. My husband had the salmon and said it was absolutely wonderful as well. We came about 40 minutes early for our reservation as we were walking and it was supposed to start raining, but they fit us in on the second floor in the bar area which was quiet and nice. The young girl bar tending waited on us, and she was just so sweet and attentive. We would highly recommend you going to try it.

Our first time visiting Jo’s in Newport. Service was friendly but forgot our appetizer. Food was good but nothing out of the box. Pleasant atmosphere and steady crowd- would go back but not rushing back anytime soon.
