    We arrived 45 min before our reservation and they were able to accommodate us. Emily, our server, was excellent- very attentive and took great care of us. The food: the george bay scallops appetizer and the scallops were too salty- Emily promptly brought us a new dish and the manager came over to apologize and to ensure that we were taken care of! The salmon was good- cooked perfectly-but also abit over seasoned but I ate it. My husband's hanger steak was also perfectly cooked as ordered. Hot rolls and lobster bisque were both fantastic!

    Overall great experience. Services was fantastic. The lobster carbonara won the day. I’m a very picky martini drinker and they made great martinis, even hand stuffing some blue cheese stuffed olives for me. Chowder was very good. A little chilly (AC was on high and blowing on the table) but overall an excellent meal.

    Wonderful dining experience. Very welcomed since we were just visiting. Felt like a local establishment rather than catering to tourists.

    Our waitress was excellent. Very attentive. The noise level was terrible. Sat near the bar, large group at a family style table and the voice level was so loud it was hard to enjoy the food.

    Three of us were seated in the upstairs inside dining room. It was very loud and dark. We could barely hear the soft spoken waitress tell us what the specials were. The food was good and the hot rolls were a plus. The lobster carbonara was excellent as well as the pork chop entree. The salmon was good but the several sides were skimpy additives to the pasta. The loud large tables of 6 plus ruined it for us. In the future, I would request the dining room downstairs or second floor porch.

    This was the perfect restaurant for the last night of our Newport vacation. Ambience was pleasant. Great selection of appetizers, entrees, and cocktails /wine. The food was so yummy and they did not skimp on the portions! Love that! The restaurant was so helpful in accommodating a change in time for our reservation. Our waitress was lovely, and the staff was efficient and friendly.

    We really enjoyed our dinner here. The menu has great choices. The service was impeccable. I think we will make this our spot for dinner every time we are in Newport.

    We had a great experience at Jo's! We had a wonderful waitress who was so nice and accomodating! We took advantage of their dinner special. It was fantastic! I had the clam chower, delicious salmon and a nice glass of wine for 24.95! You can't find that in many places in Newport. Plus the ambiance was nice! We sat on the second floor on the open porch. So nice and refreshing! GREAT night!

    Consistently very good! Jessica our server was engaging, informative and attentive! Food great as always. Appreciate the chef's flexibility in accommodating my wife's request to have the scallops (very tasty) on the BLT risotto setup for the shrimp.
