I got it was marginal for the cost, I had hoped the food quality would have been better. The ambiance and location in conjunction with Top Notch service is the only reason I gave four stars. The food was very mediocre at best. As everything considered, there was nothing there to justify the premium cost. And tie that in with $30 just to park.

Our server Temeka was well versed and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent. Although I had a reservation, I had to wait to be seated and not in the requested area. The requested area was not occupied. I have dined here frequently, and it seems the ambiance has declined.

I specifically put in the reservation for a dessert to say “happy birthday Darrell” but that wasn’t done

While the service and setting is fabulous, the reason to dine out is the food. On this occasion the food preparation failed. Soggy beer batter on the perch. Dry, tasteless mashed potatoes. Although good, the “bowl” of clam chowder coming in at about one cup serving doesn’t warrant the $14. I hope this doesn’t portend the slow decline of a premiere name.

We arrived a few minutes early for reservation, but we were seated on time. I had Dober Sole and my wife had Halibut. Both were excelllent. Service was attentive but not annoying. Drinks were served as ordered. We were visited by several managers checking on our meal.
