We decided to go on a busy Saturday. Would never do that without a reservation. We were seated quickly after a short wait. My wife started with a Berry Old Fashioned and I ordered a Bloody Mary. For some reason, we both opted for sandwiches, which we rarely do here. My wife started with Crab and Corn Chowder, one of her favorites, It did not disappoint. She also ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich and cole slaw for her side. Both great. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, also with a side of cole slaw. Anything with JB's barbecue sauce is delicious. Service by Jennifer was outstanding.

I ate both lunch and dinner with friends. It is my "go-to" restaurant whenever I am in the area. For lunch, I had the Fish and Chips. Nothing to say about their meal except it was excellent. The fish was wonderfully prepared. Crispy breading, moist flaky fish, served hot. The fries were hot and crisp. My friend had a burger and no complaints. For dinner, I had the 6 oz. filet mignon with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was cooked to perfection and, dare I say, scrumptious. Paired with the Unconditional Pinot Noir, it was an excellent meal. Without prompting my friend (a different one) chose the fish and chips, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Can't say enough about the service and ambiance. Parking is easy, reservations recommended. I doubt I'll be in the area anytime soon, but when I am, I'll make a point of including Dawson's in the itinerary.

The wait staff is super friendly and very attentive. The food tasted delicious and the portions are a nice size. Our server went above and beyond even bringing my dessert over for my birthday without being told so, when she had seen on my open table reservation that it was my birthday. Very impressed and will be a regular for sure.

Best meal yet at JB Dawson's. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. They even gave us a complimentary ice cream for my father's birthday 🎂 Will definitely be going back soon!

Reception staff and waitstaff were amazing. Friendly and professional and attentive to every need. Jambalaya was good, but the sausage, though tasty, was not chorizo... shrimp was ultra fresh and very tasty.
