Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine. Javier's Crystal Cove also offers outdoor dining. It accepts reservations over the phone and online.

    Javier was a wonderful experience. The new remodel is absolutely stunning and the food and service remained fabulous.

    Great place Fernando was our bar tender and he was excellent. Food was amazing and so was the tequila.

    The location and restaurant is beautiful. We had reservations but I had to check in multiple times to make sure they knew we were there. The table was arranged in an odd way that was uncomfortable . The drinks were ok, not great. The food was way overpriced for what it was but was tasty. The salsa was tasty but not spicy at all which was odd for a Mexican restaurant. The service was not great. The waiter dropped a knife on my toe, never apologized or picked it up. Pretty place but I will look elsewhere when I’m in the area.

    Javier’s is one of our favorite places. Food is amazing and the service is great! We have never been disappointed! Highly recommend!

    Any amazing experience! We had an amazing view of the sunset for Valentine’s Day, What a way to end the night off and it impressed the gf so another plus ;) will definitely be back!

    Loved the Ambiance and the whole vibe. Service was amazing and server was super attentive. Never missed a beat!!! Food was great although the sauce for the lobster enchilada had a bit of a bitter taste. Chips and Salsa were on point and the drinks were popping. The tables for 2 seem a bit squeeze in to fit more. A little spacing and privacy would be great. Love it 💕

    Horrible service if you can even call it that. Server didn’t even say hi, just barked DRINK? A minute after we sat down. I said I haven’t had a chance to look and he came back literally 1 minute later and I wasn’t ready. Seemed annoyed and then when he finally came back I told him what I wanted and he goes WHAT? Like sorry it’s so loud in here but I’m not screaming my order. No one ever checked on how the food was, nothing. Just want to get you in and out. I was the most excited to come here on my trip and it was the worst experience for mediocre food.
