Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a formal main dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. At the brasserie, diners may enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. These friendly establishments are immensely popular with Alsatians and visiting them is always the best part of my trips back to Alsace. I opened Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls.

    Excellent food as usual. Was warned about hot plates, but they were dangerously hot and fingers were burned on the one plate. Had to keep my fingers in and on my water glass for most of the evening. We felt rushed by the servers both to place our orders - we were enjoying chatting and catching up with our guest and were interrupted numerous times to place our orders. Also rushed as the servers started clearing or attempting to clear our plates while we were still eating. 2 appetizers still had food on the plates! And entrees were still being nibbled/enjoyed as they started clearing plates. Very annoying and disruptive. Have experienced this more frequently on our recent visits. And the dining area was not full with people waiting. No need to rush us!

    Terrific as always. This has become our neighborhood restaurant. We dine here frequently.

    We had booked an inside table but as the sound level was extremely high and room was very crowded, we request and they kindly gave us an outside table. Outside seating was pleasant and able to carry on a conversation! Food was good, except the rib eye steak special which was over salted. Oysters and mussels and the special lobster martini appetizers were excellent but the beet salad rather uninspiring. Lovely bottle of Cremanth was perfect accompaniment for a warm and sultry evening.

    Once again, a lovely, relaxing meal on your beautiful patio near the trickling fountain. It is truly my oasis from the mundane everyday. Watching Chef gather from his garden while one dines on the staff's lovingly prepared foods is about as good as it gets. Talk about garden to table! Will always be, hands down, one of my favorite restaurants.

    Always a treat!. Food was delicious- love sitting in the pavilion and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Relaxing- not rushed. Highly recommend

    We had an exceptional experience at Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez Francois. The outdoor seating in the Brasserie Pavilion was perfect for a leisurely lunch. The ambiance was serene and charming, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was outstanding, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I highly recommend.
