    Arrived at 725 for a 730 reservation. We were seated by 730. At 740 after not being greated, the hostess came over and asked if she could move us due to a seating chart error. We moved. We waited another 10 minutes before a server said she wasn't supposed to be our server at this new table but would have been at the first one but she'd find someone for us. Meanwhile my date and I watched multiple other tables including a table of 6 get seated and attended to as well as the manger multiple times just walking by us and finally we heard him telling the original server to "just take them." Not once did a manager or anyone bother addressing us. After 30 minutes we got up to leave. We addressed the manager at the front hostess desk on the way out and he said "we're busy, I don't know what you want me to do." The food looked delicious, but 30 minutes without even a drink order isn't worth it, especially when others are being served who arrived after.

    I was really excited about this place for the location overseeing the water But the experience was sub par to say the least After being seated it took at least 10 minutes for the waiter to even bring a water (the restaurant wasn’t sold out by any means) There were rips in the carpet and even cigarette butts on the window sill next to the very sticky table (!) The food was at best sub par- we will not be back this was a very be and done

    I requested a window seat for my reservation about a week before the event. I confirmed this twice over the phone upon my arrival. However, when I got there, I found that there were no window seats available. They also informed me that due to an event called the water fire, the time limit for sitting at a table was 90 minutes. I was seated outside on the patio, which is normally open to walk-in customers. Luckily, a kind customer who was leaving gave us their seats, which overlooked the water fire. These were probably the best seats in the house, but they were not available for reservations. The drinks tasted very strong, like pure alcohol, and the food was not good. My medium steak was overcooked and the ginger was inedible. On the upside, the waitress was very nice and pleasant.

    We've been hitting this lovely place since the year it opened! The food, always good, has in fact improved; the selection expanded. The service has always been exemplary. Jacky's is one of the reasons Providence appeals to foodies!!

    Beautiful environment with windows overlooking the river—very cozy ambience on a rainy night. Seating is very comfortable. Waiter okay but missing in action a bit. Food good—not the best chow fun but good, sushi and bok choy good.

    Always a great experience going to this restaurant, which we've been doing for over 10 years now. Online reservations are simple, have great valet parking (free with validation after your dinner), and excellent service.
