The reason for the enduring popularity of Jack Binion's Steak House is quite simple - magnificent cuts and house specialties served with impeccable presentation. Each piece is hand selected and trimmed to the exacting standards of certified artisans.

What a disappointment! For the prices were expecting a Steakhouse experience - NOPE. Felt like we were in a cafeteria. Ordered (rushed) and received Salads. Caesar, just ok. Ordered wine when salad plates cleared. Dinner served, no wine. No server to be seen. Finished dinner and she comes to clean up and says "Let me get that wine for you" Ummm NOPE, we are done. (Over $20 per glass for House wine btw) We say no we are done, Waitress says talk to the manager. The manger wouldn't even come over to the table. She took off the wine, like it was a favor and $11.95 (that's how much a side of fries was). Service was poor at best. Appearance was ok, no ambience. Appearance of staff was ....interesting. Sloppy, inappropriate on one like they just came from the beach with hightops on.

This place is Awesome! Staff is top notch! Dawn at the front hostess station A+. Abraham and Jamie on the wait staff are spectacular! Best in the business! View of the lake/ Chicago sky line is impressive. Lobster mac and cheese is the best in the country! Steaks done to perfection!

Great view of Lake Michigan at a classic steak house - service was great and we got out easily before the show at the Horseshoe’s premium venue - can’t beat this Hammond stop for the view and dining experience.

We had a great dinner overall. The portion sizes now don;t match the prices. I would suggest sticking to the app menu to create your our dinner. I’m not huge on desserts, but the carrot cake was a sample size. Back a few years ago, the carrot cake could be shared with three people easily. Lower the prices or increase the portions.

We enjoyed the filet, lobster tails and 1/2 chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the sides are generous to share. Excellent carrot cake for dessert.
