Dans le passé, Josef Sheekey faisait les marchés avec son stand de fruits de mer avant d'ouvrir un bar à huîtres sur St Martin's Court en 1896. Le restaurant a été rénové en 1998 pour renouer avec son glorieux passé, ses quatre chambres communicantes décorées avec des portraits originaux d'acteurs du 20ème siècle qui reflètent son rôle central dans le monde du théâtre. Acteurs comme spectateurs affluent ici pour les fruits de mer d'une fraîcheur immaculée et parfaitement préparés.

Tickets are inclusive of a welcome drink, three courses, half a bottle of wine, alongside tea, coffees and water. Ts & Cs: Service charge will be payable on the evening, subject to a 72hr cancellation policy otherwise the ticket price is non refundable.

It was our 3rd visit, and as usual, the quality of the fish and the expertise of the chefs were outstanding the service was faultless the only complaint was the very high wine prices compared to the quality. I highly recommend it.

Amazing late Lunch at Sheekey’s who never fail to disappoint. A warm greeting by Mamoosh (as always) who led us to an equally warm welcome from Rea and Marrick. During Lunch Sarita took care of us and we opted for Oysters and Bisque to start, followed by Fish and Chips (all divine)!. Drinks, we started off with a Tuxedo cocktail and a Vodka Martini (superb complements to the bar lady - apologies we failed to record her name)!. Our meal was washed down with a bottle of Chablis. Food always good but service was a little haphazard. I think they were training new staff. Service charge at 13.5% was in my opinion excessive. Given the current climate, going forward I will ask them to remove the discretionary service.

Beautiful surroundings Man on the front desk was a little rude when I asked where the bathroom was he just grunted and pointed downstairs ! Everyone else was delightful and friendly Food was outstanding

Another super meal at J Sheekey. This place is consistently excellent. We had the sensational crab and lobster burger with some drinks. Sweet staff who gave excellent service after a lovely welcome.
