    Hot brown is a must. The derby pie was exquisite. And the service was friendly and nice.

    You just can't go wrong with a Sunday lunch buffet at J. Graham's. The Cafe has all of the charm of the Brown Hotel. The food is superb!

    We enjoyed their Hot Browns, an open-faced turkey sandwich smothered in Mornay sauce, with bacon and baked tomato. Served bubbling hot. Expertly prepared and presented. One of my -all-time favorites. You can order the regular or petite. The petite was plenty of food for me. The service was excellent and non intrusive.

    I couldn’t say more about this lovely restaurant. From the valet to all the servers and the manager that came and spent time talking to us, it was a perfect experience. I had out-of-town guests that I was taking back to the airport and wanted them to experience the original hot brown. I myself have been wanting to come to The Brown Hotel. The mint juleps were served in Sterling silver julep cups. The hot brown was perfect. The dessert was absolutely delicious. We had the bread pudding, bourbon bread, pudding. We also toured areas of the hotel, such as the second floor lobby, the chandelier ballroom and the 16th floor for the view of the city. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. I will be back with all my visitors and every chance I get.

    Lovely Ambience. Great server (Dawn). Had the Hot Brown but menu is small but complete. Everyone should have the Hot Brown at least once.

    Food and service were very nice, however, the only negative was the bartender pounding ice on the countertop. Maybe a crushed ice machine would be better than listening to the noise, during our conversation, or do that in the back kitchen area. Other than that all was good.

    Sublime! What a wonderful quintessential Louisville experience- from the door men and their hospitable welcome to the superb buffet & iconic Hot Brown to our energetic caring waitress, Kat. Kat attended to every need with a smile to ensure our experience was flawless. Hats off to the chef- what a magnificent delicious meal. The cherry on top was when the staff with quite phenomenal presentation brought a an amazing birthday dessert,a “Flaming Strip Tease.” Thanks for providing us with the Beat of Louisville!
