The Hot Brown was amazing, and so were the cocktails. Most importantly, the staff was kind, friendly, and very professional. If you are in the downtown Louisville area and wish to try a truly fantastic dish, visit J Graham's Cafe and order a Hot Brown.

Delicious brunch with great options of hot and cold foods. The omelets were perfectly prepared. The roasted asparagus is not to be overlooked. And, save room for the bread pudding with bourbon-caramel sauce for the perfect ending to a delightful dining experience. The service was outstanding! We have been to J Graham’s during the week for their incredible Hot Brown. Valet parking makes J. Graham in The Brown Hotel an easy downtown destination whether visiting Louisville or a Louisvillian.

The place to go for Sunday brunch for any occasion but certainly before an opera matinee!

This was the ideal place for brunch with our daughter and 3 of her late-20's friends. We had a round table for six (ideal for maximizing conversation) and the tables are widely spaced in an old-fashionedly elegant room with lots of soft sound-dampening surfaces. It's what you would expect for an upscale Sunday brunch in a historic hotel that's working to maintain it reputation for excellence. Lots of choices: really really tasty, made-to-order omelets, bagels w/ lox & cream cheese, fresh crisp waffles, many cheeses and breads, salad, fruit, grits, potatoes, delicious lemon tartlets, on and on.... It was not cheap at $50 a person, but we loved it.

We had a breakfast the first day and then brunch the second day. Both days were exceptional service, plated food presentation was first class, food was prepared perfectly and delicious. Hot tea choices were excellent and the coffee was bold! The brunch was the best that we have had. The choices for breakfast entrees were great- omelette station, cold salads, fresh fruit, and some sweets- was delicious. We were there when some of the breakfast items were switched for lunch- Mahi mahi, fried chicken, and ribs. Just fresh and delicious. The best ribs ever!!!

A nice lunch in a very pretty setting. The staff was friendly and helpful - not pushy at all. Ordered the petite Hot Brown.

It is rare when I give 5 stars. However, Grahams deserves it. Free valet, a greeting when you arrive, great view out the windows, attentive service. I was there for the Sunday brunch.

Our server, Lydia, was amazing! From the time we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with genuine smalls from any employee we came in contact with. Managers included. Lydia went above and beyond getting us a bottle of bubbly. She was attentive without being annoying. The food was excellent. Several salads, fruit, cheeses, smoked salmon, bread, rolls, biscuits, chicken, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, omelet station. All was above average quality. The facility is charming. A lovely time
