Le J. Gilbert’s est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf maturé de qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous dégusterez différentes pièces de steak, des fruits de mer frais (notamment des gâteaux de crabe primés) et d'autres mets faits maison comme des frites au fromage bleu Maytag et des velours au chocolat. Vous savourerez votre festin dans une atmosphère chaleureuse arborant du bois précieux et de la brique sous un éclairage tamisé. Vous pourrez profiter d'une table au calme ou organiser une grande fête. This is one of my favorite restaurants but it maybe a very long time before I go again. Made reservations, was there on time yet still had to wait 15 min. More even when seeing open tables. Had a cocktail but again took almost 20 min for it to arrive. I know it’s may seem small to some but when you spend good money on service you expect the service to be a little faster! The food was amazing as always!

Reservations were at 6:30. Seated around 6:50. Ordered about 7. Still waiting on food at 7:45. Food was delicious when it was finally served. Needless to say for a birthday celebration it was not what I expected.

J Gilbert’s has always been a go to place for us for special occasions. Last night was disappointing, the hostesses seamed frazzled and unorganized. After waiting past our reservation time I was told they were working on it, then they realized our table was already seated to another couple. Once we were finally seated, the server was very nice but the food took forever to arrive, we ordered house salads and Caesar salads were brought to the table. It then took another 20 minutes for the correct salad to be served. I ordered a medium filet and it was raw inside. I did not send it back because we had already waited for it for too long. The restaurant was very busy last night, it just seemed like we were placed at a table out of the way and we did not receive the service or quality that we have experienced in the past.
