Le J. Gilbert’s est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf maturé de qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite.     I ordered the filet with scallops & asparagus with the 1st course being crab bisque. The bisque was amazingly rich in taste, the scallops were seared to perfection, & the filet was melt in your mouth tender! The carrot cake is SO decadent!!

    Food was delicious as always. But make a note to get salad dressing on the side because they pour it on to almost soupy levels. Also a bit slower than expected last night but I think they had several big groups.

    Pros Fixe menu is an excellent value. My husband ordered the pork chop and it was amazing quality and taste. My filet was also cooked perfectly.

    Generally this place is good, not sure what happened this time or if there has been a change in management, but for an upscale steak house very disappointed.

    It was our anniversary and from the arrival to departure it was thee best dining experience we ever had. They hand wrote a happy anniversary note and decorated our table. Jake was a great hostess who was very informative/knowledgeable about the menu,.

    It was our anniversary and they made every effort to make it a special event. Service was impeccable in the food was very good. We have never had bad meal there, but haven't been back in a long time. Of all the fine dining places we go to, this is still the one that offers the best food and best value in that category.
