Le J. Gilbert’s est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf maturé de qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous dégusterez différentes pièces de steak, des fruits de mer frais (notamment des gâteaux de crabe primés) et d'autres mets faits maison comme des frites au fromage bleu Maytag et des velours au chocolat. Vous savourerez votre festin dans une atmosphère chaleureuse arborant du bois précieux et de la brique sous un éclairage tamisé. Vous pourrez profiter d'une table au calme ou organiser une grande fête. One of our favorite restaurants in Columbus! And it will continue to be after last night's dinner. And on Sunday's it's half price bottles of wine!.

Unfortunately tonight was probably my worst experience at J.Gilberts. The bench seat in the two person booth was broke. Would tilt down and out. Injury hazard to an elder person. Only one salad brought to the table, then a few minutes later the waiter remarked only one salad out. A minute or so later my wedge was delivered to the table. A couple of bites of salad and the steaks were brought out. The waiter then proceed to add ground pepper without asking. Delivering the entree in the fashion they were tonight made the dinner felt rushed and not to the level of service I have received over the years of patronizing this restaurant. Was disappoint!

We have been patrons of J Gilbert's for about 20 years now. They have the absolute best poblano au gratin potatoes that are just a little spicy and always delicious! They are SO good that I actually ordered them for BOTH of my sides this time. They heat up really good, too, as leftovers. The steaks are always good, too, but the other best item, in my opinion, is the carrot cake!!! It is unique because the interior layers are praline, with the outside frosted with cream cheese and coconut. My daughters always get the chocolate cake. Great restaurant

I had salmon croquetas and miso sea bass, both off the chef special menu. Both were delicious, the only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn't get to try the seafood pasta too. Walked away stuffed and happy.

I made a last minute reservation to be sure my wife and I could get a table. We had only been here once before over 2 years ago. I marked down we were celebrating a birthday. We got sat after a few minutes of checking in. They decorated our table & left a birthday card for my wife. The service was amazing! Absolutely loved our server, Megan! Honestly best steaks we ever had. Overall experience was impeccable! We will be back

Server and manager were both impatient in getting us to finish our meals and leave even though it was not yet 9pm. A shame as the rest of the experience was excellent.
