Le J. Gilbert est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf maturé de qualité cuit sur un gril au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous pourrez y savourer différents morceaux de steak, des fruits de mer frais (notamment des gâteaux de crabe primés) et d'autres mets faits maison comme des frites au fromage bleu Maytag. Vous dégusterez votre festin dans une atmosphère chaleureuse arborant du bois précieux et de la brique sous un éclairage tamisé. Vous pourrez profiter d'une table au calme ou organiser une grande fête. La carte complète des vins et martini est un complément parfait à un excellent repas agrémenté d'un service attentionné. Le J. Gilbert's est ouvert tous les jours pour le dîner et le souper. Il est conseillé de réserver.

    The menu has changed. The 4 0z filet with shrimp or salmon is no longer available. They also took the 9 0z glass of wine off the menu. The service was very good and the food was excellent but we miss the old menu.

    Pretzel onion rings very good and dipping sauce was yummy. Steak was chewy and not edible Coconut cake was not good. Our server was fantastic and did not charge for the cake. Chocolate velvet cake was the hi light of the meal.

    Im posting this review on my experience only since the other 4 members in my party had a good meal and our waiter was very attentive. I made the mistake of ordering a rib eye vs my regular filet. There was very little marbling and the cut was FULL of sinew which made it almost impossible to to cut let alone eat. When I brought it to the attention of our waiter, his suggestion was to eat around it. When you pay $57 for a steak I would expect to be about to eat it! I left 3/4 of the steak on my plate. I guess I’ll stick to Fleming for a good steak☹️

    My husband ordered the prix fixe lamb, and it was excellent. I ordered the prix fixe filet and crab cake combo. The filet had a very odd, spongy texture. Mashed potatoes had a translucent film, as if they had been sitting too long. I had to cut the asparagus with a steak knife, leaving behind the woody stems. J. Gilberts has always been a great special occasion go to. I hope they bring back the quality that they have been known for.

    Monica was our server. She was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and energetic!! Our dinner and experience was wonderful!
