Le J. Gilbert's est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf faisandé cuit sur un gril au feu de bois de mesquite. Celebrated my wife’s birthday. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. My steak was perfectly grilled to order and her prime rib was also just right. We split the house salad and that was a good size for both of us. Given the prices in some of the “top shelf” steak houses the meal was a reasonable value.

The food was exceptional. Our server Braedon was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Definitely one of our best dining experiences ever.

Ambience & food were exceptional as usual! Server was weird. Nice guy- maybe trying too hard. Relax. He won’t keep us from coming back again … and again. Stay awesome!

We were a party of four and enjoyed another great dining experience at J. Gilbert's. Seating was without delay and the wait staff was very attentive. The food was outstanding, just as we expected. Each of us had a different dish and would definitely order it again. The planked salmon was cooked to perfection and the glaze added a great flavor profile. The Georges Bank Scallops, the Prime Rib, and the Prix Fixe Filet also received rave reviews.

Our server, Carlos, was outstanding! The entree wait was a bit long but server stayed on top of it.

Food was great as usual and Carlos the server was the best. We moved and are now an hour away from the restaurant, but it is our go to for special occasions.
