Le restaurant J. Gilbert est un steakhouse chic et décontracté qui vous sert du bœuf vieilli de première qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous pourrez y déguster une panoplie de coupes de boeuf, des fruits de mer frais (y compris leurs croquettes de crabe primées) et d'autres spécialités de la maison, telles que les croustilles Maytag Bleu et le gâteau au chocolat velvet. L'ambiance du restaurant est chaleureuse et la salle à manger est dotée d'un foyer, de boiseries, de briques et d'un éclairage tamisé. Vous pourrez prendre place à une table tranquille ou recevoir un grand groupe.     This was my first time dining here, and I can see why you need to make reservations days in advance. What impressed me the most was the service. Our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Also, the culture of the service harkens back to fine dining experiences of the past. It just feels like a special treat or indulgence that justifies the prices. Right down to the glassware, and change of utensils with each course. The decor of the restaurant adds to that feeling. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. I also loved that you can make healthy choices with the main entrees, sides, and dessert, especially! How nice it was to have something simple like fresh berries with creme fraiche to choose over heavier desserts. And I appreciate that the berries were the star of the plate, and the creme fraiche was just an accent. Although, the decaf cappuccino I ordered could have been a dessert in and of itself...it was that good. Our cocktails were also perfectly crafted and offered some unique options.

    Reliably a great experience, from food to drinks. Had the filet, salad and carrot cake. Taste was wonderful and the steak was cooked to perfection.
