Le restaurant J. Gilbert est un steakhouse chic et décontracté qui vous sert du bœuf vieilli de première qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous pourrez y déguster une panoplie de coupes de boeuf, des fruits de mer frais (y compris leurs croquettes de crabe primées) et d'autres spécialités de la maison, telles que les croustilles Maytag Bleu et le gâteau au chocolat velvet. L'ambiance du restaurant est chaleureuse et la salle à manger est dotée d'un foyer, de boiseries, de briques et d'un éclairage tamisé. We had a really good meal, wonderful ambiance, and an excellent server named Taylor. She was very pleasant and helped to make for a very nice evening out. The menu choices were great. Not a huge menu, but a perfect amount of variety. We ordered the cowboy steak and the seafood assortment so we could share some surf and turf items. The only thing that was disappointing was the lobster mac and cheese side dish. We found it. To be lacking in creaminess. It was good, but could’ve been much better. Everything else was excellent!

Excellent service, terrific waitstaff, and a delicious meal! We were not disappointed, from the sour bread to the wedge salad and the flank steak special and ahi tuna. Also, the half-price wine on Monday night was a great bonus!

The Swordfish special recommended by our lovely server was delicious! Server was knowledgeable and attentive. Always a great meal experience.

This has been a destination restaurant for us as we celebrate birthdays and anniversaries here. It is about a 45 minute drive but well worth it. The steaks are consistently excellent and we also very much enjoy the seafood options. Service here is also topnotch and the most recent server we had was very good. Highly recommend dining here.
